"First off, this place is astonishingly original and beautiful. Then, we were charmed by the welcoming staff, and the quality and spaciousness of the rooms. Next, there's the Spa with a splendid pool and other amenities like a small basin and a sauna. We took the time for a massage and once again, the quality and kindness were exceptional. "Very warm friendly welcome. Wonderful accommodation with a swimming pool. Peaceful calm surroundings in the middle of nowhere. Very clean large room. Spacious bathroom with large shower. Room had a sofa and a small kitchenette with everything you need including a kettle! Bed was too firm for me so I put the spare duvet on the mattress which resolved the issue. Owner offered us sandwiches and beers on our arrival. Wonderful buffet breakfast offering meats, cheeses, toast, desserts and loads more. Please note: The approach road is a dirt track. Please don’t be put off, you are going the right way. If you haven’t hit a dirt road then you haven’t got there yet! Please note that the roads generally are very narrow so watch your speed. The accommodation is a large yellow building ahead of you. Also the owners have a large fluffy German Shepard dog. Please don’t be alarmed. He doesn’t jump up or bark. He will approach you just to say hello and likes a little stroke. I visit Portugal every year to see my father and I will now be making this wonderful place our place to stay."
