"An amazing, relaxing getaway in Evia I highly recommend Zeus Eretria Resort! The accommodations were beautiful—our room was super nice, modern, and came with the amazing bonus of a private pool, which we absolutely loved. What really stood out was the service; the staff was incredibly friendly, and a special shoutout to the manager, Panos, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. On top of that, the resort's amenities, especially the fantastic spa facilities, added a lot of value and extra relaxation to our trip. As a bonus for animal lovers, there was also a very cuddly resident cat that stole our hearts!"

"In general everything was perfect. I really enjoyed it being there. The hotel was clean and it had various recreational activities done by Coralia club. From the members of this club, Tamara was the most helpful and friendliest by far. I will definitely revisit the hotel again in the near future. PS: the stuff was very kind , the only issue I had was with Vasilis from the pool bar since he was not as helpful as he should have been towards the customers of the hotel. Alexandros Sidi"

Brown Beach Eretria

📍 ERETRIA BEACH, 34008 Evia Island, Euboea
★★★★ 8.0 (40 reviews)

"The housekeeping service in this hotel is far below any acceptable standard. They leave dirty sheets and towels, refuse to provide more than one set of towels per person, and will not replace the bed linen from check-in until check-out. Even when towels are dirty, you have to beg to get a clean one. Face towels are not replaced at all, as they claim you only get one and should manage even if it’s dirty. In just two days, I had to go to the reception five times to request basic things. Each time I was told it would be taken care of, but when I returned to the room, nothing was ever done. They kept me waiting, and even something as simple as tissues for the room required asking multiple times. On top of that, the room is advertised as having a safe, but they don’t mention it’s locked and that you have to call someone to come and open it. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and constant hassle made this a very unpleasant stay. I would not return to this hotel"

"I have no major pointers, the service and location was great! Micos at the evening bar in the lobby had fantastic service and Julia in the reception welcoming us and very day was a pleasent welcome. The rooms are a bit old but they are clean and beds was comfortable. Regarding the food i have no negative comments on lunch and dinner, good vararity but the breakfeast for me was a bit bland, eggs where very oily and i do prefer them cooked with butter! Snacks in between is well.. Boring, they could win allot by having some fries or fresh sandwiches, and include the espresso as a part of the all inclusive please But for the price it has been a very good experience living up to my expectations all in all."

"Hotel went to 100% cosher. Means a lot of things cannot be served: no spritz, no prosecco, untasty breakfast with many missing parts (eggs yes bacon etc no), untasty breads, no venoiserie. It became very basic!! I was not informed about this change and discovered it progressively myself. I inform the management: you are heard but full stop. While I have been advising this hotel to all my friends. Now I must say : to be avoided Ps: I still don’t understand why you should force all client to eat kosher and don’t split the buffert for example. You come in Greece to eat and behave like in Greece. This is not a good diversity evolution."

"We came here beginning of July with two small kids. We loved it so much. Everything is at your feet beach, pool, gym, bar, restaurant, indoor play area, outdoor play area, organised activities. It had a very relaxing vibe and the staff were very considerate and accommodating. The restaurant was a bit pricey but we were surprised at how tasty the food was and there are cheaper options a few minutes drive from the hotel. We’ll definitely be going back as it’s not easy to find semi or all-inclusive hotels that are cozy and not busy in the summer."

Skyros Ammos Hotel Hotels in Euboea

Skyros Ammos Hotel

"Very low value for money (265 EUR for a family room) Family room is small and doesn’t even have a table inside for kids to draw or play. Balcony with supposingly sea view is in between walls and with terraces blocking the view. Bathroom had a sewage smell. The shower door was getting jammed and wouldn’t close Breakfast is decent but with approx 50% of the items being sugary. Room had not mosquito nets (hotel claims it’s because of local building legislation) which forced us to sleep with windows closed as otherwise mosquitos were coming in. Room was accumulating a lot of heat during the day. On the last night we chose to sleep with open windows and around 1:30am a cockroach climbed on our bed and walked on my arm. After describing the incident upon check out, the hotel didn’t have the courtesy to offer a small compensation."

"Smart resort overlooking the sea. Helpful friendly staff. We stayed in a premium suite with a large terrace overlooking the sea. Close to the sandy beach where sun beds & cabanas are provided as well as a beach bar. We eat in their delightful restaurant every night. Lots of steps which may be unsuitable for some. The resort is quite isolated which we liked. A lovely stay."

Paliria Hotel Hotels in Euboea

Paliria Hotel

"I stayed at the Paliria Hotel for 6 nights in April. The location of the hotel is great, but the cleanliness and the staff's attitude towards it and the guests' wishes surprised me in a bad way. The room was not cleaned at all, the beds were not made. The only service was changing towels and taking out the trash. After the room was not cleaned for 4 days in a row, I contacted the hotel administrator to ask how often the room should be cleaned and expressed my wishes regarding the order. The administrator noted this, but the situation did not change. It was very disappointing. In addition, shower accessories were only brought upon request."

Porto Evia Boutique Hotel Hotels in Euboea

Porto Evia Boutique Hotel

"All rooms are sea-view (except for shabby ground floor rooms) and when you are in the room itself and look out, it’s actually like being on a cruise ship! End. Pool shape is awkward but the area round the pool does not know what health & safety is… children could easily fall into the sea in 1 second. We had dinner at the hotel roof garden a couple of times and it was not good. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk into the village and there are plenty of restaurants serving good food. The breakfast is ok-ish for Greek standards. The cleanliness of the rooms is fine but we kept running out of toiletries and had to go to reception for replacement. The rooms are small but ok if you just use them in the evening. We stayed in August 2018"

Villa Christine - Maisonettes with Fireplace Hotels in Euboea

Villa Christine - Maisonettes with Fireplace

"We booked Ms. Christina's villa by phone based on the photos we see posted and we understood that it is an entire house, a villa that has a perfect terrace overlooking the sea, with a garden, with a gazebo, with a barbecue as we wanted, so that we could grill as we booked for 3 days of Easter. After she confirmed the availability and informed us about the number of people we were as we went as a group and we also informed that there would be children, we booked it and asked us to pay her 100€ in advance with iris. We said to give her half and leave the other half to give to her. So, arriving there on Easter Day, we were concerned as we had a strange feeling that something was not right. I call her and she comes to greet us with a smile and we go together to show me the house. That's what I thought... he took me to a basement room where when you open the door you enter the bedroom, living room-kitchen, and bathroom. Of course, the living room instead of being a living room was a bedroom. He had put in 2 single beds and turned the sofa into a bed. In the kitchen I saw a countertop refrigerator, I didn't look at anything else in the closets as I was disappointed by what I saw at that moment. Nothing to do with the photos, this particular room wasn't even in the photos... Then he took me to the garden-kiosk-barbecue, everything was the same as the photos except for the barbecue, it was dirty and not well-maintained. I get back to the car and tell my husband, he is also disappointed and adamant about going to see it, he asked for a refund of the deposit (we know that here in Greece the deposit is not refundable) but a little humanity wouldn't hurt if he thought about how far we had come with children. He never returned the money, he didn't give us an invoice for the deposit as he justified it by saying that he would talk to the accountant since the money goes into a business account. So let's change the name from Villa Christina and let's call it Christina's Apartments because quite simply, they are rooms for rent, not a villa."

Anastasia Hotel & Suites Mediterranean Comfort Hotels in Euboea

Anastasia Hotel & Suites Mediterranean Comfort

"One word to sum up a visit here is wow! It is an incredibly stylish hotel, which is immediately apparent when you arrive in reception, a lot of thought has gone into the design of what is a lovely space. This style and quality is evident throughout the public areas and into a beautiful pool area with high quality loungers which are never too busy and other very comfortable pool furniture. Rooms do not disappoint, the design and comfort are exceptional, spotlessly clean, a good shower and very well maintained by housekeeping. The rooms have a fridge which is topped up with bottled water daily and kettle. Bed linen is of very good quality and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast covers all diets, cooked options, fruit, cereal, breads, cold meats, cakes, wide selection of teas and nespresso coffee machine with a good capsule choice. Staff are very efficient and friendly, Dimitri runs a very well stocked bar with professionalism and a smile. A couple of nice touches are the availability of pool / beach towels and staff providing glasses of chilled water when you arrive at the pool. The hotel also benefits from location overlooking the sea and a five minute walk from the town, which has a good selection of bars and restaurants. Overall this is an outstanding hotel well worth a visit I could not see anyone leaving disappointed."

Amaronda Resort & Spa Eretria ★★★★
"We had a great family vacation at this hotel in October, near the end of the season. We traveled with two kids, and the experience was amazing! The all-inclusive package was perfect, with tasty and varied food. We especially liked the fresh salads and fish every day. The pool and beach were beautiful, with plenty of sun and fresh air. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. It was the perfect place for a relaxing family getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!"

"Overall, we believe this property has tremendous potential and we genuinely appreciate the effort that has gone into opening the hotel. While we cannot yet rate it as a 4- or 5-star experience, we can clearly see the foundations being laid for a very successful resort in the future. The hotel’s strengths are numerous. The newly renovated main building is modern and attractive, there is ample parking, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. What impressed us most was the visible improvement we observed each day, which demonstrates a committed team working hard during the opening phase. We particularly enjoyed the beach and pool areas, as well as the convenient tunnel access beneath the road. The property’s extensive facilities—including the tennis, padel and basketball courts, playground, gym, spa, water sports facilities, boutique, and aqua shop—create a strong foundation for a destination resort. The amphitheater, upcoming restaurants, and bungalows currently under construction will undoubtedly add significant value once completed. The all-day dining terrace is also a lovely space. However, we feel the property is currently operating below the standards we would expect from a Radisson-branded hotel, particularly regarding the food and beverage experience. While the food itself was acceptable, it was evident that systems, infrastructure, equipment, and operational processes are still being established. Our biggest concern was the beverage offering. There was no wine list or drinks menu available, and wines were served from containers that did not reflect the quality or hospitality standards we associate with either Greece or the Radisson brand. Given the exceptional local wine culture and the proximity of excellent wineries producing Malagousia, Assyrtiko, and Kydonitsa, this felt like a missed opportunity. Similarly, the cocktail offering did not meet expectations. As Radisson VIP members, we were also surprised by the lack of pre-arrival communication and welcome information. We typically receive information regarding the property, facilities, Wi-Fi access, and membership recognition either before arrival or upon check-in. In this case, there was no welcome note, in-room information, or digital introduction to the resort, which made the experience feel less personalized. Additionally, while we understand that the location of the main building next to a busy road cannot be changed, the unavailability of the bungalow accommodation we had anticipated impacted our overall experience. We also noted that the corridor air-conditioning installation significantly lowered the ceiling height in some areas, creating an awkward impression. We fully recognize that this is a newly opened property and appreciate the challenges associated with launching a resort of this scale. Our intention is not to criticize but to provide constructive feedback. We believe the hotel currently delivers a 3-star experie"

"We did not book this hotel but, like a number of English holidaymakers, were transferred from others we presumed were closed as the season staggered to an end. We were lucky as we had 36 hours’ notice: others were told on arrival at Athens airport! As this had given us time to read the reviews on TripAdvisor, we were quite concerned at what we would find but I’m pleased to say it was a wholly positive experience. We were in bungalow 426, a clean, comfy base. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient, as were all front-line members. The hotel was quiet - certainly not much more than one-third full - and this was to our advantage. There were no queues at meal times, no dishes ran short, and most were warm, if not always hot. Served buffet-style, the menu was pretty stable but we managed a different combination on six occasions. The standard was good and we were very pleased. With so few residents, there were plenty of free sun beds around the pool and on the beach; whilst the music was non-stop, the volume was appropriate, unobtrusive and from our era - the ‘60s and early ‘70s!! The town is a twenty minutes stroll away along the beach front with a wide range of shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and, in similar circumstances, would recommend in to all."

"The list of negatives is endless so I will try and cut it short and say the most serious of all. First of all make sure you understand what all inclusive means. It means with serious rules and basically anything included is a con and a joke. One example? If you want a freddo cappucino from bar (coffee) you either have to go to a crappy coffee machine and make it yourself with no whipped milk or not get the “included in price coffee” and spend 5 euros per coffee. Excellent, I love coming on vacation and making my own coffee!!! FYI the coffee was the worst coffee I have ever tried in greece. Some brand called Kimbo? We tried to eat at the pool but food doesn’t exist till 3 ( a packed pool full of kids) the other option is the main restaurant. At 2:58 I tired to order at pool and was told it’s not 3 yet 😂 at 3 on the dot I ordered burgers pizzas etc and was freezing cold. We sent back and went to restaurant and they told us it closes at 3. So no one to feed us! After a massive argument on our first day we were fed and after I was scolded that I should have read the terms as soon as I arrived. Rooms are tiny, extra bed is a hard futon that the hard futon pillow collapses in the night and pieces come apart at waist. Kids couldn’t sleep all night. They couldn’t even put a proper elastic matress cover on top but a thin small sheet that also kept moving around and coming off in the night. The mosquitos are abundant (we killed 25 in 1,5) and there is no mosquito net on balcony door or mosquito liquid in plug so your choices are to spray yourself and kids with chemicals and freeze in aircon or leave door open and get eaten alive. When I asked staff for a plug in she asked me to come and get it 😂 When I asked why they don’t have a plug in said was dangerous for a fire. I have never seen such an infestation of mosquitos in my life! Water was cold two nights in a row out of our two. When I mentioned I received a comment that I sincerely have never heard in a hotel in my life, we have full capacity now , be patient and wait. No comment. I didn’t realize I had to wait for my shower when I pay! Loungers by pool are filthy and stained. Revolting. The area around pool is muddy with hairs and dirt. Beach is nothing to write home about and In comparison to most beaches in greece well sad really. Two days of three also dirty sea with dirty bubbles. At the pool bar you have to wait in endless queues as there is no pool service or beach service. Slides are extra, sea sports extra, inclusive food and drinks are super basic. You can’t ever find a table outside and if you do have to wait ages for staff to clean it. It’s a joke and certainly not a 4 star hotel. 2 at the most. What a shame, as I am Greek and this type of service and taking the piss doesn’t not happen at least not where I have been. It has so much potential but everything feels like a joke here, a con. Everything is “work” to get something and always some sneaky way of doing as little as possible for "

"Our planned trip to Tinos was cancelled due to high winds & ferry cancellations, so opted to spend 3 nights here. About a 75min comfortable train trip from Athens. Hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from Chalcis Station. We had a seafront room ( 413 ). Basic room, but spacious, clean, good air conditioning with a small balcony and beautiful views of the harbour. A very good buffet breakfast was included in our tariff. The hotel has a restaurant, however we opted to eat in one of the many dining options along the waterfront. Staff at this hotel spoke English and were very friendly & helpful. We had never heard of or considered going to Chalcis or the Evoia area of Greece. What a pleasant surprise and what a delightful area to visit & stay. Lots to see & do. The Lucy Hotel is a great base to explore from….great location just over the old draw bridge right on the waterfront. Seems like it’s also a very popular holiday spot for Greeks. Unlike the islands, lots of Greek families here. We will be back for sure, next time we visit Greece."
