"Standard room in the town centre, close to high street and bus/train station so very easy to get to. Located in a pub but was very quiet, has a beer garden and space for parking if needed. Spacious room for one person and has everything you need including a kettle, tv, wardrobe with plenty of storage, towels etc. Receptionists were kind and helpful, breakfast is available for extra but I didn't get it so cannot review."

"Fantastic hotel, great price per night, the room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was made to order included in the price and well presented, there is also a good choice of evening meals and specials, the staff couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome and the local people were really friendly, theres the added bonus of a log fire which was lovely to sit and relax round in the evenings while chatting to the locals. Would recommend this hotel, also only 5 mins walk from Fareham town centre and the local bars and restaurants. Thanks again everyone for a lovely 2 night stay, best wishes Paul and Adele"

"Arrived late Friday night - checked in straight away and very welcoming- no problem with ordering some food without booking and being quite busy with guests dnd the World Cup - nothing was too much - didn’t have time for breakfast but made us coffee and toast with no charge - small things but others would have stuck to strict rules - excellent short stay 👍"

"We stayed at Holiday Inn Fareham Solent. Fir this location a car would be ideal. There is a Shell Petrol Station not too far. All staff are friendly, always with a warm smiles. They offered me free parking. So if you do come by car don't forget to log vehicle registration details on the portal at the Front Desk (Check In). Breakfast was excellent choice of vegetarian or non vegetarian (healthy options available). Our room was on ground floor there was some draught coming through the window so I mentioned to the staff. Sadly the Jacuzzi was not working during our entire stay so (3 days). Lots of places to visit. I only gave 3 marks for amenities due to Jacuzzi not working. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We had a voucher for Christmas for afternoon tea, the experience was OK but not as elegant as we’ve had at previous afternoon tea, now I maybe snobbish but I expect proper sugar not sachets, we found the dining room a bit cold and had to keep our coats on. The tea itself wasn’t bad but basic, we had the Prosecco tea booked but at no stage was we offered Prosecco, the service was OK and efficient, I found the cutlery poor and had to clean before use the table cloth had a couple of stains, the sandwiches, scones and cakes were nice and they did box up the cakes that were left for us. Overall if I was paying for this I would be disappointed."

"We spent Christmas here, and the staff were exceptionally kind. We arrived around 12:00 PM, and they were already willing to show us our room. However, we requested to wait for a ground-floor room to become available. After just half an hour, they accommodated us with a ground-floor room—and even upgraded it! We were able to check in well before the standard check-in time. To top it off, they gifted us a bottle of wine for the holiday. Thank you, Holiday Inn Fareham, for the wonderful experience!"
