The hotel is lovely and the beach and restaurant is where we spent most of our time. The team working were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Made us feel very welcome. The food in the restaurant is also amazing. We can’t wait to be back next year! Thank you everyone"

"We had a sea view room with an ample balcony. Everything was clean and tidy. This hotel is literally accros the road from the beach, 43 of my steps to be precise. The staff are kind, welcoming, polite and helpful. Special mention to Angelica, the receptionist, who organised our excursion to Paxos and Antipaxos, including a bagged breakfast since the bus would pick us up before the service was ready - she has been awesome! Breakfast and dinner was included and all was prepared beautifully and to homemade quality - the stew is to die for! Conveniently located next to bus route 7 that connects with Corfu Town in about 25 mins, supermarket and multiple ATMs."

"What a great find!! Our stay was great from start to finish. Nice friendly welcome and amazing location. The room was spotless with a great sea view, beds are made daily and they will change the towels as much as you want. Breakfast choice is massive as good as a 5 star hotel and different things to try each day and we stayed 8 nights. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate and the pool area / sun beds are very comfortable and no issue with people putting towels down!! Pool bar serves a wide range of drinks and some bar meals. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Yannis and such good value for money when you see the breakfast included."

"An excellent small hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was good with a brilliant selection of salads to help yourself to. The pool spotlessly clean as were the rooms. Ok, the rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and do have a TV, fridge and AC (extra cost but worth it) with small but nice clean bathroom and decent shower. They also have a balcony, ours had a sea view too. We were far too busy enjoying the pool, swimming from the decking and generally enjoying the hotel hospitality to do anything other than shower and sleep in the room. Location was ideal too with a bus stop directly outside the hotel so easy to venture out. We took a trip north on the bus costing a couple of pounds, it was like being on a scenic tour - we could even see across to Albania. You do need to be pretty mobile to hike back up from the water and the rooms are built on the hill side so probably not suitable if you have difficulty walking or breathing problems. My daughter and I enjoyed our June 2023 trip so much she has returned in September 2023 with her partner. She reports the staff remembering her and has an even better room with full sea view in the lower accommodation. I'm currently looking into when I can return. If you want a laid back no hassle holiday this is the place!"

"Swimming lessons with Athina, from mer-finn. We have done these every year, and each year surprised how much more my child learns, way more than any lesson in the UK- so we make the most of it when we are in Greece and have a lesson everyday at ikos. Before my son was scared of the water couldn’t swim, couldn’t put his head under, and after the first day he was blowing bubbles under water, and then also able to safely make his way back to the edge after jumping in- he couldn’t swim before. He is now generally paddling with help, but miles better from when he started and it’s only been 3 lessons. Athina had a lovely way with him too, so kind and gentle, learning through play which made his lesson so much more powerful and enjoyable with him wanting to go back each. I would highly recommend the service and we have come back to swim lessons year after year. His cousin also benefitted last year and learned how to swim with Vicki, my son has a little more way to go, and now I have to find someone as good as Athina in the UK -… thankyou Athina!"

"The photos we have seen, the rooms look different. What a terrible gang is it here. If it was to me, I would have turned the same second- and taken the loss for love. But to throw €90 over the bar, my wife didn't want to. We were just staying on the beach that night. Breakfast is all a laugh, this really can't. I packed my bag and thank them. What a bad intention is that say there."

"The hotel location is not very scenic. The big swimming pool was not open when we checked in at the end of April (why not make sure all facilities are available before allowing us to check in?). There is only a small swimming pool outside the gym :(, which is heated. The room I booked has a jetted tub. The water temperature was very hot on the first day, which was fine. When I wanted to use it on the second night, I found that it was room temperature and I couldn't take a bath at all. I communicated with the reception and he said he couldn't do anything about it. The temperature is controlled by the hotel and guests cannot adjust it. Pressing the temperature increase button didn't work :(. In addition, no cleaning staff came to tidy up the room during the day on the second day. The food, service and environment of the restaurant are all good."

"What a lovely place. Location, wonderful. Drinking morning coffee looking out on the beach. Spotlessly clean, fresh , tasty breakfast, comfortable rooms. My only niggle was the size of the shower, but I'm a larger lady! All the staff were endlessly friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers HUGE portions of fantastic meals, I defy anyone to finish it all. Our thanks to all the staff for such a happy atmosphere. "Lovely friendly hotel, all staff very welcoming, amazing views !! . It's kept very clean, both rooms and pool area. Food is lovely and plentiful , also catering for vegetarians / some fish dishes ( could provide a little more option there, but plenty of salad). It is on a steep hill with additional lower accommodation to main area, but just a couple minutes stepped walk. It is more rustic/relaxed, buffet service and return your plates, but gave it a friendly homely feel. It is a bit dated, aircon noisy (extra cost), but price reflects this.. In fact overall better than you will be paying . I was concerned of other reviews, and cost/star, but family of 4 ( 2 teenagers) all felt comfortable and would happily return.. Greek night was great fun, hotel could organise some additional activities as you are away from a town, but taxis / bus service simple and hotel happy to help arrange. Hotel shuttle to local beach and hotels additional beach side pool... Had a lovely holiday, thank you Nautilus "
