Romantik Hotel Turm ★★★★★

"Starting with arrival, our experience was negative. No one responded to our communication requests at the garage entrance, phone calls and in person efforts. No bellman, concierge or front desk representative. Check in took over 1 1/2 hours because of inadequate staffing, incorrect room assignments and lack of luggage assistance No one explained the.hotel benefits, spa features or room amenities. Almost every time we walked around the common areas of the hotel, we were alone because of inadequate staffing. We called the hotel a number of times and an AI robot always answered. They refused to transfer us to a human staffer and, despite repeated promises, we never received a return call. Despite numerous requests, no one from management ever reached to us. We also made a number of inquiries about speaking with the hotel owner, Stephan. He never bothered to respond to our requests. He actually had the gall to obstruct our invitation to an art exhibit held offsite by another hotel guest. On the positive side, Lorenzo and Deborah in the upstairs restaurant and lounge were fabulous Bottom line, if you are expecting a 5 star experience, don’t stay here. This was the 6th hotel on our current trip, the first 5 were fantastic, Hotel Romantik was a huge disappointment."

"The room was not overly large but was clean and nicely furnished. A bathrobe and slippers were available for use. As a small gift, there were free soft drinks and snacks in the minibar. The breakfast buffet was extensive and there was something for every taste. Dinner consisted of four courses and you could choose between three dishes for each course. I had three dinners and they were all delicious. I also had a few treatments in the spa. The lady was very competent and knew her stuff. Unfortunately she was very taciturn. The rest of the staff were very friendly and always helpful. I also found the bus map for the local bus routes useful. A place to come back to."

"I cannot thank the concierge, Yamam, enough for the exceptional support during my stay. The entire staff is dedicated to providing the best client experience possible. When we encountered a few challenges, they didn't just offer quick solutions; they thoughtfully assessed the pros and cons from our perspective, even if it meant extra work for their team. They have really went above and beyond!! The room itself was brilliant, and I had a very comfortable stay. My kids had a fabulous time playing in the snow right in our front yard! I also loved the wellness area, which had everything we needed, including a sauna, steam bath, and infrared options to help us relax. The dinner was also delightful. Highly recommend this hotel!"
