"This motel is a dump. TV didn't work completely. No mirror in the bathroom or grab bar in the bathtub. Not enough towels. Office clerk not helpful. It was a terrible choice on my part. Topaz website was totally misleading. The pricing would be reasonable if there wasn't so many things wrong. I am very glad my stay was only 2 nights. If it was any longer, I would have changed hotels."

"The motel is right off the main highway, which you can hear at night. It is pretty charming, the motel. there are about 10 rooms all individually decorated. Ours has a king bed which is snug up against one wall, little dining table, microwave refrigerator, sink, free Wi-Fi and a television. It opens up into a grassy picnic area with a what they call the Tiki Lodge. There are grills to use and refrigerators and also all sorts of cooking implements if you want to cook. The place is quaint, but the rooms are a bit small for the price, and right next to one another. However, again, you can walk five minutes and be on the Ocean, which you can hear at night. The owners are very nice. It’s 2 miles to Flagler beach restaurants, which is too congested! This is not!"

"Let me start by saying this is a place that we have stayed for atleast 35 years. This was our go to for the coast. We have always highly recommended it to both friends and relatives. NEVER AGAIN! It is being mismanaged, the manager has absolutely no interest in making his guests feel welcomed. On this most recent trip we were greeted with cigarette butts and snack wrappers outside of our room. Check-in time is 4pm and at 4:20 upon trying to get into our room the tile floors were totally soaked. I had to take a bath mat to dry them so that we could enter and after doing that the mat was totally disgustingly black! Then to top it off the fire alarm went off in the room that night (scared our poor dog to the point he was shaking) then when hotel staff came to check on the alarm we were accused of leaving the door open and letting the humidity in! We had been in the room for atleast 2 hrs, with no open door. On a previous visit our AC unit was not working and we were so pleased that it was replaced within 25 minutes and my husband went to tell the manager. He told my husband that we should not have been in the room we were in because it had been designated as a bridal suite. Now mind you, we specifically asked for that room and were given it when we reserved. (That's a joke, they put up a full length mirror to make that designation.)The grounds of the Villa are no longer being kept up, they used to be immaculate. Now there are palm fronds everywhere and the grass isn't even being cut regularly. Traveler beware!!"
