"*1/5 stars* "Disappointing last-minute booking Booked this hotel at short notice, but what I walked into was appalling. The room's carpet was filthy, and the entire space reeked. Hairs on the bed and in the bathroom were a huge red flag. The duvet had yellow and black stains, which was unhygienic and unacceptable. Requesting a mattress and bed sheet change was met with indifference - the receptionist didn't bother. Considering the poor state, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Cleanliness is non-negotiable, and this place fell woefully short. Unless they revamp their cleaning standards, I'd advise others to look elsewhere.""

"We stopped at Premier Inn Fleet during a road trip from Germany, to get a good night's rest, before continuing to Devon. Upon check-in we were informed the road outside the hotel was closing at 9:00 the following morning for a half-marathon. Having worked all week, got up early on the Saturday to drive 10 hrs to get to Fleet the plan had been to get up later to be rested for the remainder of our drive. Instead we got up early again to drive onwards still tired. It is not within Premier Inn's control to avoid the road closure it is entirely within their control to inform me before check-in and allow me to move to another Premier Inn in the area. Poor communication Premier Inn."

"It’s cheap and fine for a sleeping stop - could hear the road all night and people at the services. But for £55 I didn’t expect anything other than what I got… The lady on reception was very welcoming… ⭐️ Had to pay an extra £5 to park."

"Location is good with lots of parking. Arriving at the hotel we saw no member of staff, used the self check in and went to our room. The room was a good size but the bedroom floor had dirt or chocolate pressed into the carpet. There are lots of marks on all the walls and the place looks quite dated. The bathroom was the worst part. There was mould on the ceiling in multiple places and had a really weird smell. The next morning we went to breakfast and it was okay. The cooked food was warm and had a decent selection. The coffee machine was broke so we just had the same coffee as supplied in the room. Overall I would not recommend this hotel and will not be staying there again."

"Clean and comfortable room, a little small, but it was a single room. Good value for money. Quiet environment which I appreciated, as a business traveller. Good location not far from the M3. Polite front desk staff. The only negative is that, like many hotels, weekend breakfast does not start until eight which means no breakfast for me as I have to leave for work at around eight. Wish hotels in this situation would provide a coffee and croissant/Continental option for guests who have to leave earlier."
