"We have been staying in this hotel during a circuit in Senegal. Claim to be a high-standard boutique hotel; however, facts are slightly different. Room prices are excessive for the quality offered (small chalets, dirty or worn-out equipment). Lunch and dinner are good but again excessive, a main course being offered at 20000 francs. Unfortunately, no other high-standard option is offered in the area, which might explain partly the discrepancy between price and quality."

"- Reception and some of the staff - neutral, lacking empathy - The resort seems to have seen better days, no flair, no feel-good atmosphere - 3 nights Mangrove Suite - €615/night without a refrigerator, safe, and bathrobe for the pool/spa; cappuccino for breakfast is an extra charge. Value for money: 👎👎👎 - Vehicles and equipment are old, rusty, some are broken, and dirty - One bright spot: consistently good dinners with friendly service"

"We spent two nights with my family in this hotel. The setting is magnificent. You quickly feel good there. The room is incredible. It is clean and well maintained. The staff, most of whom live in the village located not far from the hotel, are attentive, helpful and super friendly. The meals are excellent: 3 choices of starters, main courses and desserts that vary every day. It is an authentic place where there is an atmosphere like we have never felt during our previous trips. We enjoyed the excursions offered, all accompanied by a local guide: visit of the village by horse-drawn carriage, ride in a pirogue in the mangrove. We were able to observe dolphins, pink flamingos... It was a culturally rich and very moving stay."
