"This restaurant, Radossion, is so-so. The facilities and service are both so-so. Maybe it's because it's close to Christmas, but there are parties every night in the outdoor area, which are incredibly noisy and don't end until the early hours of the morning. It's a real headache."

"We had a pleasant stay! The reception staff are courteous and professional and the others are also very helpful and nice. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and fluffy pillows with very good cooling system in the room and all throughout the hotel and I loved the shower, the water feels so good to the skin. The breakfast was superb! The deluxe sea view rooms offer a wonderful view of the sea. I will highly recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Freetown"

"The Hotel and Room - The hotel is located perfectly away from the inner city and closer to one of the beaches, which I appreciated. Cosmetically, the hotel is well-manicured and secure. They clean the hotel grounds, trim the bushes, and paint the scuffs every day like they do at Disneyland (impressive). Secondly, I was upgraded to a larger room with a kitchen, washer, and dryer inside the room at no cost because the hotel was crowded. (That has nothing to do with the review.) The room was very clean and up to my standards. The hotel has day and night security guards." "The Staff - I reached out to the hotel a few weeks before I arrived in Freetown concerning transportation to the hotel, and the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. They provided transportation from the Sea-coach Docks. Housekeeping was prompt and attentive to my schedule, and regardless of what time I left, the room was pristine clean when I got back. The front desk staff and the managing partner or owner were all very friendly and went above and beyond to address any questions I had." "The Pool - Loved the pool. "I was in Freetown as a US Citizen for a project at the US Embassy. The duration was 3 weeks. Home Suites Boutique Hotel was recommended to our team, and I could not be happier with the stay. Prior to my arrival I requested a quiet room on the highest floor possible, and even though due to missed flights I arrived almost 30 hours late, the perfect room was held for me! Top floor, away from elevator. The bed was so comfortable (important when staying 3 weeks), the room was a nice size, and the cleaning team was incredible! They even washed my travel pillowcase without me asking! Breakfast was awesome, the handmade omelets were made with fresh eggs (so easy to tell) and there was a great selection on the buffet. The restaurant and bar for dinner was clean and the menu varied. I became fast friends with Sophie as our night after night sever! This is all so important when you are on a long stay! Front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Made exchanging USD to SLL a breeze and always a smile. Were able to walk from the hotel to point of interest and not once felt threatened, so a very good location. All in all, a great choice for a fair price. If we are ever sent back, I know where I will stay again. Great experience! Especially when 5000 miles from home."

"There is a air conditioner and warm water available in the room. I booked with breakfast. However the hotel told me that breakfast wasn't included in the booking. The price and food quality is bad and expensive. The food is served cold and took too long to serve. And the portion was very small."

"The whole hotel culture is “we do not care about the guests”. Examples: -asked the receptionist to call through their landline number a local restaurant to investigate if they were open or closed. They showed no willingness to do so and they didn’t. -the cleaning lady got into my room while I was still inside and without my permission in order to pick up the towels -asked for the gym, no staff seemed to know where it is located. Once, somebody eventually, pinpointed it to me, the whole gym was without electricity, completely abandoned and out of use (see photo) -throughout my friends long stay, after a week the hotel staff freaked out with the aggregating costs and they decided to block the guests key without informing/discussing with them the situation."
