"We were given a disabled room with sagging mattresses and pillows that were far too thick! The food was a disaster - tough medallions, sauce that you had to stir, beans that were hard and all the dishes lacked flavour. Too few staff, the food isn't refilled, but thanks to AI, there are already drunk guests for dinner. Although a small sign says that you can only consume food in the restaurant, a few bottles are brought to the room in backpacks, under cardigans. The concept should be worked on... not quantity, but quality... It would be better to be a little more expensive and use higher quality products, especially for the food. There are no real chefs here and there are lots of people who gorge themselves on everything and shamelessly show off their fat bellies. That's the audience!"

"Our stay at AHORN Berghotel Friedrichroda has been very good overall. In the direct comparison with the AHORN Panorama Hotel Oberhof we have been particularly aware of the better organisation and pleasant basic order. The staff was attentive and friendly. Very positive is the strong focus on families and children. Some areas, such as the game world, still work very new and offer really many opportunities. Also the Polish facility has convinced us. The hall bathroom is, however, with a water depth of 1.90 m, only aimed at swimming and water sports. The extensive and pleasant quiet area is another great plus point. Despite the size of the hotel, we also felt the restaurant rooms as relatively pleasant. The carpet made the sound scenes clearly more disturbed by our impression. Even at the dinner we were positively surprised. The selection was proper, it was regularly filled and when something was empty, you had to usually wait a little bit. Quality is absolutely OK for an 3-Sterne-Hotel. Also the prices in the hotel felt fair. A good and especially very family friendly overall package. That is the combination of large areas, swimming pool, game world and other offers that makes the hotel interesting for a stay with children. We would come back."
