We have walk up access, parking, showers and restrooms one mile from the house. A little further down the road is Sandy Bay. Which offers parking and beach access to Pamlico Sound. Perfect for kite-boarders and windsurfers. Sandy Bay is one of the best kite and wind surfing spots in the world. Second only to Maui.We have several wonderful restaurants located within a few miles of the home. You can't find fresher seafood and sushi anywhere on the East Coast. The fishing on Cape Hatteras Island is world class. We are 5 miles from Teaches Lair and Oden's Dock. Oregon Inlet is 45 minutes north. The home is the perfect location to catch charter boats. If you aren't up for off-shore fishing. Catch one of the many in-shore charters in the Pamlico Sound. Boat rentals are also available at Oden's Dock. Cape Hatteras also offers the best fishing from the beach in the country.
