Parking is very convenient with plenty of spaces, and it's only a 20-minute drive to the Tianchi Visitor Center. However, out of the portions for four people, two of the apples were rotten, and the grapes hadn't been washed. Also, guests staying at Fukang hotels can get a 50% discount on Tianchi entrance tickets, but this requires the hotel to issue an invoice in order to qualify. To get to Tianchi Lake, you can only book a private car from the ski resort for 200 RMB round trip. They'll drop you off at the foot of the mountain and then take a shuttle bus down to the ski resort entrance. It's quite expensive. Those with the stamina can hike up and down the mountain; the distance to Tianchi Lake is manageable, and the scenery along the way is beautiful."
