"Traveling to Koktokay by car, Mutianyuan was absolutely the best accommodation throughout our trip, a perfect five out of five stars! There's a huge free parking lot on-site with plenty of spaces, so you can park any size vehicle without extra cost – a huge plus for road trippers. The hotel's location is superb, just a ten-minute drive straight to the Grand Canyon Scenic Area, meaning no need to rush in the morning and more time to enjoy the scenery. The guest rooms have an elevator, and the facilities are brand new and fully equipped. The solid wood bed is soft and comfortable, and the smart toilet and separate wet/dry bathroom are a joy to use. The cleanliness is impeccable; the entire room is meticulously cleaned daily. The bedding is pristine white, and there's no dust or water stains in the corners, making for a truly reassuring stay. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively helped us with our luggage upon arrival and thoughtfully shared some less-traveled scenic routes. The breakfast buffet offers a fantastic variety, with cold dishes, hot dishes, hot porridge, and milk. The specialty milk tea, baursak (fried dough), and freshly made tomato noodles are authentic and delicious. Eating so well ensures you're energized for a full day of exploring the scenic area. Parking, location, facilities, cleanliness, service, and breakfast are all top-notch – this is definitely our first choice when visiting Koktokay!"

"This hotel was introduced by a friend. The front desk lady was very considerate and enthusiastic. It was my first time in Fuyun County, and I didn’t know where to go for fun or where to buy supplies. The lady in the guest room also patiently introduced me to where they were, and I felt the hospitality of Fuyun."

"The service was very poor. They cleared out my things before the check-out time. The most outrageous thing was that half of the apples in a bag were lost and only a few were left. The quality of the waiter was too poor. He even stole the apples. The hotel management level is worrying. This is the first time I have encountered such an outrageous thing. I strongly recommend not staying in such a hotel. They can't even guarantee the safety of the property of the passengers. Basic honesty and trustworthiness are required. Very bad living experience 👎"
