Sleep Inn & Suites University/Shands

"Very good service"

Days Inn by Wyndham Gainesville University I-75

"The room smelled horrible, like human urine. It was a terrible experience. I don't recommend this hotel."

Quality Inn University North I-75

Drury Inn & Suites Gainesville

"Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff, particularly Cass the manager. The evening selection of food and drink was a highlight. Overall, a fantastic stay."

Hyatt Place Gainesville Downtown

"The room is very large and clean. It is right in downtown. There is a theater next to it. There is a very good Japanese restaurant next to the theater."

Aloft Gainesville University Area

"The room was not cleaned for two consecutive days. After repeatedly requesting and insisting on cleaning, it was cleaned on the fourth day! Meow! So lazy! Americans! The floor is carpet! This is very unhygienic! Everyone knows that carpets are a breeding ground for mites!"

Courtyard Gainesville FL

"Stayed for one night, booked two rooms for my family. The location is convenient as it is close to other stores like Target and other diners. Rooms were clean and had basic amenities but there is no microwave. Expected more from this hotel but the staff who checked in us could be more professional and friendly. One of our room pass card wasn’t working so had to go downstairs. Staff charged me twice so I’m still waiting for it to get corrected. Manager and staff when we checked out were very professional and assured me the payment would be fixed, so I hope it will happen soon. Overall, it was average."

Hilton Garden Inn Gainesville

"Nothing too fancy, worked out great for one night stay. Everything was on point, and I have nothing but good things to say. Highly recommended!"

Staybridge Suites GAINESVILLE I-75 by IHG

"It is an average 3-star hotel. My room was next to the elevator bank so I couldn't sleep due to the noise."

Home2 Suites by Hilton Gainesville Medical Center

"The hotel is very cost-effective, the pool temperature is suitable, it will not be cold to take the baby to swim at night, there is a bonfire next to it, you can sit around and chat, there are many breakfast places, and everyone has a share."

La Quinta by Wyndham Gainesville

"First room I was allocated had another guest in-awkward… apart from that was an ok stay… probably would try another hotel next time though"

Hotel Indigo GAINESVILLE-CELEBRATION POINTE by IHG

"Hotel is in about 4 miles from the UF campus and football stadium, easy ride away in a quit newly developed shops/recreation/business area. Free parking in parking structure, pleasant and quick check in and out. Our room was nicely modern decorated, clean, no odor. Bedsheets were fresh & comfortable. We had no warm water in the morning for shower, late evening was no issue. A/C was quite loud, person sleeping right next to an a/c vent woke up every time a/c turned on. Bad design. We would come back, just need to check the location of A/C in particular room."
