"Room was spacious and clean. On site restaurant was great. WiFi worked well. So why only 1 star? The AC unit in the room did not work (in July!) but Reception did not care. And there were empty rooms to move me to. Impossible to sleep well when the room is sweltering hot. Absolutely unbelievable for them to show such indifference. I would not stay here for free. "

"We had booked the Ibis Galati. Upon arrival, we were told it was closed. We received an upgrade to the Mercure Hotel, which is right next door. Therefore, this review applies to the Mercure Hotel. Check-in was smooth. The rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is plentiful, and the staff is very friendly and helpful."
