"I recently stayed at the Geraldton Apartment Hotel, and while the physical space was average, the overall experience was marred by strange policies and poor attention to detail. 1. Discriminatory Mini-Bar Policy Upon check-in, I was informed that because I booked through Trip.com, my mini-bar access was restricted to only milk and water. I found this highly unreasonable—guests should be treated equally regardless of the booking platform. 2. Serious Hygiene Concern On our first night, we discovered a milk carton in the mini-bar that had already been opened and was half-empty. It was unsettling not knowing if it had been tampered with or what might have been added to it. While the hotel eventually offered a "complimentary" full mini-bar as compensation, I found this ironic, as I believe the mini-bar should have been accessible from the start. 3. Poor Room Maintenance The lack of attention to detail continued when I found damaged hangers in the wardrobe."
