Trip Inn City Hotel Giessen
"it’s good but only one elevator works . and going there we have to around one other building"
Best Western Plus Hotel Steinsgarten
"The breakfast buffet was delicious, and there was a good variety of food. I would have liked the menu to change daily, but I think it was fine even if that was not the case. The room was very clean, and the amenities were plentiful. However, the bathroom and toilet are in the same room, which might be a problem for some people. However, it was clean, so it didn't bother me. Overall, I think this is a hotel that I am very satisfied with."
Akzent Hotel Köhler
"We were here for a seminar. Unfortunately, we were often treated very rudely and like second-class guests. The manager and a gentleman from a 5-star restaurant were also extremely rude. We were kicked out of the lobby. The room hadn't been vacuumed all week, and the bathroom floor hadn't been mopped. The food is okay. Only the breakfast is decent, and the breakfast staff were friendly. A refrigerator in the room has also become standard. A chef who gets loud when a side dish is requested that's out of stock at the buffet. Never again."
Residenz Hotel Giessen
"Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Large underground parking garage + 3 parking spaces including a charging station right outside. Clean room. Everything was perfect."
Sletz Parkhotel - Superior
"We stayed at the Parkhotel Sletz for a weekend. The bathroom and room were spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are newly renovated and have good flat-screen TVs. The location is ideal, on a quiet side street."
ADAPT Apartments Giessen
"Very good experience. The room was clean and tidy, large in size and equipped with a kitchen. Because I need to stay for more than a week for business trips, it is very good here. The kitchen equipment is very complete and very convenient, but pay attention to the smoke alarm equipment above the kitchen. The garbage room and the communal washing machine are in a common room that opens from outside the apartment, but the door of this room often gets stuck and cannot be opened."
SmartHotel Flamingo Self Check-IN
"I stayed at this hotel from January 14th to 18th. The rating on *********** is a very high 7.2, which is what I chose it for. The rooms looked nice. But believe me, all the reviews here are fake. Don't stay at this hotel. 7.2 points? In my opinion, it shouldn't even get 3. To avoid being left out and having to sleep in the park, you should stay at this hotel. The beds were terrible, old, and dirty. You can barely take a proper shower because the water barely flows. When it does, it's either scalding hot or freezing cold. You have no way to shower. Since this is supposed to be a hotel, it's definitely not one. I asked for a beer glass, but they didn't even have that. As you can see, everyone who has reviewed and rated this hotel highly knows it's a fake. It's a waste of money. Choose a different hotel. I'm speaking from experience. This hotel should never cost €75 per night. It's definitely a hotel that charges €20 at most. It's not even a hotel. Although in my eyes it's just a hostel, it should be considered as such. The door keys are old, the rooms are claustrophobic. Everything is green, the curtains are green, etc. No, this view is a complete lie, an absolute lie. Baris Mustu"
Tandreas Hotel & Restaurant
"As a single woman traveling for business this was a great choice. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood with many dining choices, including the hotel. There is a REWE close by. Bus 2 from the train station stops right in front of the hotel. 3 Euros. The classic rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Due to a delay in my business I stayed 3 nights. I was in a large double room and changed to a single room for the third night. Both rooms were very clean. Showers had good pressure with hot water. The breakfast had many hot and cold choices with a large seating area. Tuncay, at reception, was very friendly and welcoming. He arranged a very reasonable mini-car service to Frankfurt airport. Although the reception is closed from Midnight to 6:00 am I felt perfectly safe. The number to reach reception after hours is posted. The only way to enter hotel after midnight is with key from lower level garage. This is a small, charming hotel with a very personal touch. I especially liked walking in the neighborhood and the beautiful historic cemetery across the street. It feels like a park. There are locals walking and sitting on the benches. It is very well kept. One of the local persons I met told me the doctor who invented X-Rays is buried there- a great pride for the city. I will stay here again."
B&B HOTEL Gießen-City
"Self-check-in was unsuccessful, and no one at the front desk resolved the issue. I had already paid through the platform, but the machine at the hotel asked me to pay again. I spent over half an hour there in the middle of the night trying to figure it out, and I couldn't even get into the parking lot after paying. Ctrip's solution and service were acceptable afterward, but the hotel's was not."
