"Hi. I stay in the King Charles hotel every week and believe it to be the best accommodation in the area in terms of value for money and room comfort by a long way. The rooms are warm, and clean, as are the showers. The breakfast is tasty with super service and the reception and bar staff are all friendly and helpful. Car parking is also generally fairly easily. All good, a home from from home. Thankyou King Charles hotel."

"Whilst the room itself was okay, the unbearable noise coming from within the hotel was bad enough to ensure a terrible nights sleep. Add to this the extractor fan in the bathroom sounding like a foghorn, and I’d highly recommend avoiding this site!"

"When in Gillingham, (Kent) why stay in the usual Hotel 'Box' when there are options like the Nikoda Lodge in Gillingham, Kent, England . A pretty little guest house right across from a park, with a nicely renovated bathroom -to a high hotel standard. The owners are great, and are there for anything you need. (If not on site, remotely able to assist you through the webcam.) -This would be a fantastic option for those with longer stays, (work crews etc.) with a huge kitchen, and everything you need to have home cooked meals while on the road. As a matter of fact, 3 different sets of people can cook their meals at the same time! - It has a 7 burner stove with 3 ovens and a warming oven. Also with the usual kettle etc. there was a 4 slice toaster, a blender, an air fryer and cupboards and a shelf for each unit. I was super impressed. -For the smokers like me, there are two ground floor rooms that have outside doors right off the rooms leading out to the covered smoking area for our convenience. -I would Defiantly stay here again!"

"All the usual benefits - clean room and hotel, comfy beds, decent shower and ample parking. The location is spot on to explore the nearby historic dockyards. The staff were a cut above the normal. Friendly and engaging, really helpful and pleasant. The same goes for the restaurant staff. And the on site restaurant was just right. Nice selection of evening meals and an “all you can eat” breakfast. Clearly prepared freshly on site and good quality. Really enjoyed our 3 day stay here."

"As me and my wife do not eat pork, the option we had this time was not good especially the yoghurt and the orange juice was off, the staff even took it away. The orange juice had fermented smell and bitter. The breakfast was not worth it really, thinking otherwise for the next stay."

"Although the customer service is hard to contsct including the so called emergency number. After telling trip.com the owner finally picked up my calls. This is a Sherlock Holmes style game so that you can earn the super privilege to live inside. ON THE OPPOSITE OF THE DOOR BELL , THERE IS A SECRET BOX..... After being given a few wrong passwords and a few wrong secret box number, I could finally enter the Sherlock Holmes Manion and finally enter my room which has an ensuite toilet and bath room. The house and the room are excellent , protected by 24 hour cctv camera I would recommend this one especially if you like Sherlock Holmes."
