"Send the children to the Charterhouse summer camp, stay here for one night, very quiet town, drive more than 40 minutes from Heathrow Airport. The room is decorated very classically, full of royal style, and the bathroom is more modern. The plane was delayed and it took two hours to queue up. When I arrived, I had passed the latest check-in time. Fortunately, I called the hotel in advance to explain the situation. The two staff Samara and Danielle have been waiting for us and upgraded us to Charles II Deluxe Room. The stay experience is great! The UK in July is very early in the morning, very cool, and the thick quilt at night feels a bit cold and does not need air conditioning at all. The breakfast was very rich."

"All good apart from a couple of things: - I was unaware that the payment for the two rooms was taken 10 days before we checked in. ...(on the booking it said 'pay at hotel'). - the 'fixed price menu' offered on the dinner menu should state 'only available Monday toThursday'. - on looking back, my booking confirmation promised a complimentary bottle of Tilford ale. .no sign of that in our room."
