Hotel Jardín Tecina ★★★★

📍 Lomada de Tecina, s/n, Playa de Santiago, Gomera

"We have just enjoyed a short stay at Tecina. A relaxing start to our time in La Gomera. On our arrival, Olympia at reception gave a friendly and informative welcome. The hotel offers gentle luxury with clean, crisp bed linen and cold air conditioning. From breakfast to evening meal's the chefs and waiters have it down to a fine art . A special thanks to Ivan , Beatrix and Angel for the friendly and attentive table side manner. We leave refreshed and we will happily return ."

Parador de La Gomera ★★★★

📍 Lomo de la Horca, s/n, San Sebastian de la Gomera

"Stunning hotel overlooking the coast and San Sebastian. Traditional decor throughout. Very nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds available (unsure if this would be the case in peak season, if there is one on La Gomera). No pool bar however. We did have an issue of building work next to our room during our stay but it didn't really affect us. Not an issue for us but the hotel is about 65m above sea level meaning that there is an 10-15 min uphill walk back to the hotel from the town."

Suites & Villas Los Telares

Suites & Villas Los Telares ★★★

📍 Ctra. General, 10, Hermigua

"The hotel is on the main road, and when we arrived at 4 p.m. there was no one there. The room keys were in the wrong place. The rooms are soberly furnished and not very clean. The door to the small balcony did not close. In the tiny bathroom, the warm water from the shower dripped, nothing else flowed. The breakfast in the basket in front of the room door cannot be eaten in the dining room (it is only for reading). The lounge is nice and spacious, and the restaurant attached to it (10 minutes away) is also recommended. It is best to avoid the hotel."

Bancal Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"Beautiful hotel, very clean and well-equipped. Friendly staff. The food was buffet-style, with something for everyone. Spacious bedrooms. We didn't use any of the other facilities; for us, it was more of a walking holiday. Highly recommended!"

Hotel Jardín Tecina ★★★★
"Review: Our stay at Hotel Jardín Tecina was a massive disappointment, especially considering we spent over 5,300 Euro. The Service: We were given a verbal confirmation by the reception that we could shorten our stay and receive a refund. Based on this, we rebooked our flights. Afterwards, the hotel went back on their word, hiding behind "non-refundable" terms and essentially calling us liars. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable for a high-end resort. The Food: For a hotel in this price range, the buffet was a letdown. Most of the meat appeared to be pre-boiled/pre-cooked and lacked any culinary quality. It felt more like a mass-production canteen than a 4-star experience. Extra Costs: Despite the high room rate, be prepared to pay extra for almost everything. A large portion of the activities on-site require additional payment, which feels like "nickel-and-diming" the guests. Conclusion: There are far better places to spend your money on La Gomera where they actually value their guests and keep their promises. Stay away."

Hotel Torre Del Conde ★★★
"A very nice friendly hotel in the heart of the Town close to the harbour, the beach , the park and lots of nice restaurants. We had a happy visit - nice clean room, cool air conditioning. A view to the pRk on our tiny balcony. The breakfast buffet was simple but nice. There is a fridge in the room but be aware there is no tea or coffee making facilities"

Suites & Villas Los Telares ★★★
"If you want to get away from it all, this is the ideal place. Quiet and with beautiful views! And very friendly service. If I had to find a fault, it would be that I couldn't try the pool because it was cold and cloudy, but for the time of year it's normal. The stay was wonderful! I'll be back."

CT Las Tres Palmeras - Valle Gran Rey ★★★
"The Three Palmers is a dive in the authentic beauty of La Gomera, the space is pleasant and the involvement invites to disconnect from the world, but there is a detail that tells the pace of the stay: hot water. Although the accommodation has its strengths, the water heating system is extremely limited, and the capacity is so short that no one can finish a relaxing bath with constant temperature, as two more. It's a quick exercise that breaks the comfort you expect from a refuge like this. In short: the place is good and the view compensates, but prepare for a "lightning" bath or learn to enjoy temperate water"
