"Rooms exposed to the sun but without air conditioning. Poor maintenance. Limited kitchen. WARNING: I was robbed of 60 dollars and local notes of little value in a non-transparent plastic bag placed in my suitcase. Never happened in any other hotel in the world. The hotel management did not take any action on the matter."

"Pros: clean, spacious, comfortable, good location, diverse breakfast options prepared to guest preferences, very warm and welcoming staff (especially Senait), excellent value. Cons: The fitness center is minimal, but I’ve never seen another hotel of this size that has a fitness center at all, so perhaps not really a con. Other: I moved here after being disappointed with another hotel in Gondar. I liked the Inn of the Four Sisters so much that I extended my stay in Gondar."

"Hotel staff very helpful nut cant resolve issues. First night i Arrived there was erractic internet& No hot water and no one came to inform or assist. The lift does not work but thankfully i am on the first floor. Next day a mechanic came to apologise and said there wont be hot water for whole day. The sink water is so little i cant brush my teeth. There are no face towels or bath mat. The shower curtain is so short and water splashed throughout bathroom . Owner should spend investment on basics vs the unutilsed grand restaurants & lobby."

"Wonderful experience! The staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and clean. I loved the design and care that they put into it. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. The balcony is spacious and relaxing. The shower has great water pressure which was great after hiking in the Simien Mountains. The hotel is in a great location, convenient to many historic locations in walking distance, and is secure. Great breakfast options and coffee. They have great wifi, also! The city and Gondar region has a lot to do and see and is undergoing a revitalization. I wish I could have stayed longer! The owner also helped arrange a taxi to the airport and stored our luggage after check out. They also accept credit cards and can change some currency. ATMs are nearby if you need to get birr. If you’re thinking about going to Gondar, go!"

"Overall, this hotel deserves a high rating because the building is very welcoming and there's a large terrace with a view of the entire area. However, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the in-room amenities, with the toilet struggling to flush and the bathroom lacking shower gel. Another flaw is the Wi-Fi, which doesn't work in the rooms, while it works much better in the lobby and restaurant."
