Hotels in Gouda

"Smart hotel in a good location for exploring historical Gouda. Well-equipped and comfortable room - with kettles available (although not in the room as standard). Nice high pressure shower, good aircon, nice, quiet room. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked really nice. There was lots of rather strange, slightly unnerving artwork of people eating cheese... The artwork looked AI generated and overall felt cheap and at odds with the rest of the hotel's design. The hotel made a show about being eco and 'environmental', however the bathroom cups were wrapped in plastic - this is completely needless (no one ever wraps the coffee cups in plastic!). Worryingly, on check-in the receptionist insisted that I hadn't paid in advance and made me pay on the spot. When I later checked this I found that, as I thought, I HAD indeed paid in advance. To be fair, when I showed her evidence on my phone she immediately initiated a refund, but really - how can that be allowed to happen?? Surely it should all be on the hotel's system. If I hadn't spotted the mistake I would have paid twice. Not impressed!"

"I couldn't sleep all night through the noise of the cars in the highway. Every day cleaners come to your room but the dirty towels are not replaced! Very bad kiss you don't feel good at all during sleep! The expectation is behind the desk and there you can only feel warm, No coffee machine in the room and the water cooker was very dirty! Nice restaurant but for someone who is vegetarian is not made a lot of choice! Some staff were lovely but also someone is at the reception that gives you unwelcome feelings!"

"Very atmosphere. The indoor garden was beautiful in the evening. Nothing more Christmas lighting. They're trying to make you really sense. I hope I'll lunch there next time. My cousin's gonna go for her anniversary for the Michelin dinner. I am curiosity:) Thank you, Hillery."

"It was a bit difficult to do the checkin without any staff (everything was via app /online) but once we got it everything was fine. The room was good and the bed very comfortable!"
