Royal Holiday Hotel
9.0 (319 reviews)

Royal Holiday Hotel ★★★

📍 Zone A, Chengdong Commercial Center, Huancheng East Road, Guangning

"The room facilities are quite good, and the bathroom is large and luxurious, clean and hygienic. The decor style is unique with a white and green color scheme. The pillows are very comfortable, and the bed has the right firmness, which helps with sleep. The mural art is beautiful and tasteful. The breakfast is of average value for money; I suggest they could improve the standard a bit. As the restaurant offers local specialty cuisine, it can fully meet customer needs."

Guangdong White Swan Resort Green Bay ★★★★★

📍 1st Floor, Lifestyle Center, Dashajiao Emerald Bay Hot Spring Resort Area, Paisha Town, Guangning

"Stayed for one night with my parents and it was incredibly relaxing. The surroundings were beautiful, and the staff were very proactive. The resort consistently maintained high standards across all aspects. It was a family member's birthday, and they even surprised us with a birthday cake and a fruit platter. We were also granted a late check-out. The food quality at the restaurant was excellent. For sightseeing, the Luoguo Bamboo Pavilion is about a 25-minute drive away, offering stunning views of a vast bamboo forest. You can also drive a little further to explore the nearby county town."

Guangning Overseas Chinese Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 37 Nandong 1st Road, Xincheng District, Guangning

"I found it to be excellent. Firstly, it's a large property with a great environment. Secondly, both the accommodation and dining are run with great care. Thirdly, although the buildings are quite old, thanks to good management and maintenance, and the quality materials used during construction, they exude a unique charm and character. Fourthly, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, making it a relaxing and unwinding experience to return to after a day of sightseeing."

"Five-star review! The room was quiet and comfortable, very clean, and the service was warm and attentive. Check-in took about half an hour after booking, and the air conditioning was already on when I arrived – a very thoughtful touch, especially on a hot day. The parking lot is huge, so there's no problem parking anywhere; perfect for those with a car."

There is no air conditioning and a fan. The heat will collapse. In summary, the price is there, can't ask for too much."

Guangdong White Swan Resort Green Bay ★★★★★
"I rarely write reviews, but for this hotel, I truly feel the need to. Initially, the hotel's service and environment were excellent; I even considered a second visit. However, after just one night's sleep, I no longer want to return. My main complaint is how uncomfortable the sleep was. The bed was extremely firm (perhaps better suited for seniors), and I barely slept the entire night. Despite drawing all the curtains in the room, natural light still woke me up around 6-7 AM. The design is far from guest-friendly! If you're looking for a comfortable, undisturbed night's sleep, this hotel is not for you. However, if you're an early riser and prefer a very firm mattress, then feel free to book it!"

Guangning Overseas Chinese Hotel ★★★★
"The first time I came to Guangning, I chose this hotel that looked the most upscale. The room was large, with an independent courtyard for convenient parking and quiet. The location was good, and there were many delicious small shops nearby. It was also close to Cuizhu Park, a small hill-style park where locals exercise. There was an independent chess and card room on the first floor, where I played for two nights. The front desk service attitude was very good. There is a heated swimming pool at the back that you can go to for free, but it is not in the main building of the hotel. The disadvantages are also obvious. The corridors of the rooms are all carpeted. The local climate is humid, which is very lethal to allergic rhinitis. My friend's husband and I had obvious allergic reactions before and after. The breakfast was very simple, which was not commensurate with the price of 48 yuan per person. You can eat delicious wontons, pork offal noodles, etc. at local shops for 8-15 yuan. I supplemented the children's fee of 25 yuan on the first day. On the second day, I went to breakfast alone, so I asked the hotel to help pack a small portion of the remaining breakfast and take it away. As a result, it didn't work. Finally, after explaining for a long time, I agreed to take two eggs and buns! Forget it, I don't need it! This has no sense of service at all!"

"It's supposed to be the best hotel in Guangning, but the details weren't handled well: there was no tissue box in the room, there were leftover shampoo bottle caps in the shower, and the toilet seat and lid were always stuck together and difficult to separate."
