Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe first two pics you'll see the incredible proximity between Hyperion and the train station and mall. I was exhausted that day so it was super good that the hotel is 1-minute walk from the station! If you want to go to the city center (shopping street or St. Thomas church), it's only a simple 10-15 min walk. A smiley and kind blonde lady checked me in, she was really helpful and genuine. As for the room, it was modern and clean. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserClose to the station. Visitable on foot to see and restaurants.
Breakfast is good compared to other hotels.
Small refrigerator in the room. Tableware is provided.
Free self-washing machine and dryer on the 8th floor (soap)
AAnonymous UserThe location is very good, a few steps from the train station, very close to the zoo, the room in the center of Leipzig is very high and the number of floors is very good, overlooking the scenery of Leipzig.
GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is very convenient, the surrounding facilities are also very complete, the supermarket and the square are very close, it takes 5 minutes to walk to the pedestrian street or Leipzig University, and the bus station is opposite the downstairs. The overall price is very high, the breakfast clock is also OK, you can also do freshly squeezed orange juice, the waiter is also very warm and thoughtful. Some facilities are old and the room is narrow.
GgwonshLocation a little far from the city center. It can be a little cumbersome when using public transportation. I think this is the only downside. Instead, there is a mart in the same building, so it is good to buy food and beverages.
The hotel's old age is old but has its own harriage.
If you don't like the old-fashioned atmosphere, you may be disappointed, but I think it's much better than a simple concept accommodation that doesn't know if it's for awkward, cheap, modern or who.
The rooms are larger than hotels in the city center, old but clean and well maintained, and the staff are very friendly.
Basic hotel.
RRPSMThe INNSiDE Leipzig enjoys an excellent location, tucked neatly between the historic market square, the old town, and a more contemporary quarter brimming with restaurants and cafés. It’s a strong base for exploring the city on foot, whether your interest lies in culture, shopping, or dining.
We didn’t opt for the hotel breakfast, and honestly, there’s no need to. The surrounding area offers plenty of breakfast options. That said, quality varies — a few places are solid, while others are best avoided, so a bit of online scouting is advisable.
The hotel itself is functional and in good repair. It’s clean, straightforward, and unpretentious — not luxurious, but not run-down either. One design choice I could do without is the glass-walled showers. They’re the fully transparent sort, which lack privacy and seem more decorative than practical. A door wouldn’t go amiss.
Air conditioning is adequate but not strong. During our June visit it was just sufficient. If you’re visiting during a hotter spell — say, in August — you might find it underwhelming. That said, Leipzig isn’t known for oppressive heat.
We parked in a nearby public parking facility for €20 per day. It’s a short walk from the hotel and, in our view, the more sensible choice compared to the hotel’s own parking offering.
Stay here for the location and cleanliness. Skip the breakfast, be ready for the odd bathroom layout, and use public parking. It’s a solid, no-frills choice — just don’t expect charm or luxury.
