"We selected the hotel for its location, just a short walk to the Piece Hall (where we were attending a gig). The hotel is relatively new, the room was large and bright, and the bed was comfortable. Parking is a short walk away in a multi-storey, and although there was no discounted rate it was. Reasonable price for 24 hours."

"This is a lovely hotel on the canal side well situated for visiting different places & very reasonably priced. The hotel is quite small which suited us & our room was at the front so we had a nice view. The room was very clean & the reception staff very helpful & friendly. We had some evening meals at the nearby Brewer's Fayre pub & the food was very good. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel."

"Very near the rail station. Nice morning staff. She was multitasking. Dated, cold room but clean. Water pressure super. Relaxing. Complementary coffee, tea,and cookies Night staff unhelpful with my simple taxi issue. I could have done a bank transfer right away since I am a hotel guest. Morning lady staff allowed me to leave my stuff so I could walk around after check out."

"absolutely SHOCKING. room was unclean, things broken, rude bar staff, toilets dirty, tv doesn’t even work, lights don’t work, kettle dirty. location is good. atmosphere is okay but only due to this being the night of a james arthur concert so all fans are here. i wouldn’t say you get even minimum standards met for essentials so value is shocking. kept hearing weird noises."
