"The actual building we stayed in was completely different from the address provided on Trip.com. On top of that, you can't drive to this building, only walk, and it's a 10-minute uphill climb. Once we arrived, it was another shock: two flights of stairs, which is a nightmare for anyone with a lot of luggage. The room had no air conditioning, and the phone line was cut, so we couldn't reach the front desk. The front desk staff was very rude, but seemed to treat Caucasian guests differently. It's disgusting that they want to earn money from Chinese people but look down on them. I strongly recommend that the Trip.com team delist this hotel to prevent further harm to travelers. There was no hot water in the room, so we couldn't shower upon arrival at night. The next morning, I used roaming to call the front desk, and they said they'd fix it right away, but we waited two hours. All our travel energy was drained here, and I completely lost interest in the rest of our trip."

"I’d like to start with the positives of this one night stay. The location is very good, it is close to the main square and the ferry. The two bedroom one bath apartment on the second floor is so charming and clean. The home like decor is so inviting. There is a nice entry with a small kitchenette setup (never located any coffee) and the small, but adequate private bathroom. The front room was a combined dining area and bedroom that has a balcony overlooking the town with a view of the mountains. Be warned there are no curtains on the windows in this room (so it gets bright early) and it is difficult to open the windows in this room due to all the decor pieces sitting in the window frames. Be careful not to knock anything over! The back bedroom has a window that has the rushing water from the stream just outside it. It would likely be a very peaceful and relaxing sound to fall asleep to. (When the guests at the hotel that must share a wall with this hotel aren’t throwing an exceptionally loud and raucous party until 4:00 in the morning.) The king bed in this room was comfortable with crisp, clean linens and pillows. So the rest of the story. The check in was not a great experience. There was a note on the locked door to ring the bell or call a number. Apparently the bell was not working and we had difficulty placing the call. I walked back to the hotel we stayed the previous night and they were kind enough to help me try to call. My husband stayed behind and tried the bell several more times with no luck. Finally a gentleman stumbled upon my husband in the entryway and asked if he needed help. He then located the check in hostess who checked my husband in as I walked back from the other hotel with our luggage in tow. He said she was genuinely very kind and apologized profusely for the inconvenience. We paid the hotel charges with credit card, but the small nightly city tourist fee was payable only in cash. The stairs are very steep and the treads are very shallow. This made carrying our luggage up and down difficult, especially if you have big feet, but we managed. I could see this being an issue for older guests, larger guests and small children. First impression of our accommodations was that it was adorable and we were looking forward to a nice evening. Unfortunately, we had a terrible stay because the hotel that shares a wall, I believe it is called Seewirt Zauner, hosted an obnoxious party until past 4:00 in the morning. We were unable to keep our windows open for the much needed air flow due to the noise. Although closing the windows only mitigated the noise slightly. The music was extremely loud and the guests were jumping and chanting and ALL of this could be heard through the walls. My husband went outside to see if he could locate the source, all he had to do was follow the sound around the corner, to see if he could ask someone to please ask them to quiet down so we could get SOME sleep. He was met by the hotel clerk and the act"

"We had no issues with the property itself. It is a historic house in beautiful Hallstatt. We already knew about the staircases and need to bring luggages up those staircases. What we were surprised about was the extremely low level of service for such a beautiful property. Apparently the manager was on leave and left two inexperienced girls in charge. Understandably Hallstatt limits vehicular traffic and our car could only stop at a designated spot about 15 min spot from the property. Our driver had called ahead to tell the property we were arriving and asked if shuttle could be arranged. The answer was the only option was to walk. Imagine lugging luggages through the snow. On arriving at the property, we told the girl receiving us to arrange a taxi at checkout to bring us to the dropoff point to meet our driver the next day. She promised to do so. Half an journey before the appointed time she told us no taxis were available and the only option was to walk. You can imagine our frustration with this level of service. A wonderful property let down by extremely poor service."

"We rented this apartment specifically for the sea view and being able to use the balcony overlooking the sea. The balcony was closed off and all the windows have big stickers over them .The whole apartment is enclosed with scaffolding and blue net,with walkways outside all of the windows being used by workmen from 8am in the morning .The parking space provided for the apartment was being used by the builders and the whole place is nothing but a building site.We wrote a genuine review and they did not include the written review only that we gave them one Star."
