"This hotel is really cozy! In the lobby, they offer a variety of complimentary fruits and snacks, and there are sofas if you need to rest. You can even try on traditional floral cotton-padded jackets for a fun photo op. The staff at check-in were very polite. Since I'm a light sleeper, they thoughtfully assigned me a room not facing the street, and it was genuinely quiet. I slept soundly for both nights. They even gave me a heads-up that if guests in an adjacent room were noisy, I could contact them, and they'd handle it. The room had good heating and was very clean. The carpeted floor made walking super quiet. Plus, they offer free water refills โ just go to the front desk when you've finished yours. The location is excellent, very close to Central Street and the subway station, making transportation really convenient. When I checked out, they even gave me a farewell gift. It was truly heartwarming, felt just like coming home!"

The hotel itself is really big, with a vintage decor and dim lighting. To be honest, walking around alone in the hotel felt a bit spooky ๐จ. Another thing is, because the hotel is so huge, and you're utterly drained after a day at Ice and Snow World, the next morning, dragging your tired, aching body across the carpet just to get breakfast feels like an impossible task. Plus, the restaurant is genuinely quite a trek from the guest rooms. It's utterly exhausting! ๐ฉ"

"Yiyi Homestay is the best I've ever stayed at. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming; they even stored our luggage for free. The location is perfect โ just a few steps from Daoli Market (a morning and evening food street), and St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street aren't far either. There's also the New 100 Mall, an underground shopping area, Yibinzhi Home downstairs, and the KFC next door is a must-try (coming from a Malaysian baby ๐ถ)! If you're still cold, don't be shy to ask for a heater. They even offer to lend money if your WeChat Pay runs out โ I'm so grateful for Ruoyi's incredible service! The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, just as pictured, with city views from the window, including St. Sophia Cathedral, which is stunning at night. You'll never be short of places to eat. Diagonally opposite the Central Street subway ๐, there are many fruit stalls with fresh selections. Across from the fruit stall, there's an underground eatery โ I highly recommend the black rice porridge for only RMB 3, along with other authentic local delicacies at great prices."

"The room was warm enough despite the temperature outside is freezing cold at lowest -27 during our stay. They said there is only 1 family suite each floor, so the view with St Sophia Cathedral is guaranteed.
There is 1 bed right after the entrance (i call it the living room with bed), and another 1 bed inside the bedroom.
There is only 1 toilet / shower room - which is at the living room.
There is no table or coffee table to eat together with family.
The room overall has plenty of space but lack of proper furnitures."

"I booked a loft family room. My family and I stayed at the McLaren Hotel on the afternoon of the 19th after returning from Xuexiang, as we had a 6:30 AM flight on the 20th. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were incredibly satisfied. First, it was very clean. The receptionist who checked us in was very gentle, and she arranged our room on the first floor. She also helped us register for the 5 AM airport shuttle service for the next morning. Once we entered the room, with its two levels, my kids were absolutely thrilled and found it very novel. My mother was also very pleased with the room layout and especially with its cleanliness, praising it highly. It's a shame our stay was so short; my kids hadn't had enough of it! The two levels are completely separate, which is great! The receptionist on duty on the morning of the 20th and the shuttle driver were very professional and had excellent attitudes. The hotel is only a 3-minute drive from the airportโsuper fast! This stay left us with a fantastic impression.
My only minor complaint is that the shower drain was a bit slow; I'd suggest some maintenance."

"Room, location and service were fantastic. The room was very large , has what we need, they had complimentary everything .. bed was comfortable, hotel has good meals available & cocktails/bar (lack of those everywhere).
Close to the Chocolate Castle, you can catch a cable car to or from Sun island or subway as well, its close ( line 2) hotel is near line 3. The ice and snow world was a highlight and best transport is subway ( line 2) . We walked 8mins to the line 2 subway and then switched for line 3 on way back.
Central street is also close by for the delicious massive icecreams . Harbin was amazing !"

__WeChat37292****Every day since leaving Xinfu, I've been missing the sledding hill behind the lodge (it was free and unlimited!).
The owner even helps guests take photoshoots like 'splashing water into ice' (he took three amazing shots for me ๐) and 'glowing with colors.' He's an incredibly skilled photographer, and those pictures instantly elevated my social media game. They also organized a session where we all made candied hawthorns together. As an extrovert, being able to chat with everyone like that was just so enjoyable!
The owner also led the trip to Wusong Ridge, keeping us entertained, taking photos, and even teaching us how to ski along the way. As someone from the south, I truly got to experience the thrill of playing wildly in the snow!
And of course, the accommodation itself was very unique, with a traditional heated *kang* bed, ensuring a deep sleep until morning. Waking up to hot porridge in the morning was just heavenly!

MM1y0k1i5w****Snow Valley Nannan Homestay exceeded our expectations! The guesthouse is surrounded by white snow, and the courtyard has swings and a snow slope, perfect for kids to play in. The room facilities are complete, with a well-functioning water heater and reliable Wi-Fi, making it easy to stream videos and upload photos without issues. The owner is a fantastic cook; their authentic Northeastern dishes like Stewed Chicken with Mushrooms, Di San Xian (stir-fried potato, pepper, and eggplant), and Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) were incredibly delicious, generously portioned, and affordable. They also provide free snow tubes, shovels, and other snow play tools, saving us the cost of rentals. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep to recharge. The owner even helped us book our return tickets, taking away any worries. It was a comfortable and stress-free stay, definitely the best value for money in Snow Valley!

GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly.
The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon.
The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price.
I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing.
The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games.
It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel.
Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

I'd definitely choose this place again next time. Even though the room faced the street, it wasn't noisy at all thanks to the excellent soundproofing of the windows. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserTo be honest, the hotels in Yabuli are a far cry from those in other ski resorts like Changbaishan, but this one is actually quite good. It's basically clean and comfortable, and compared to similar hotels like Atour, it offers more space and is on par in terms of quality. The only downside was that my first-floor room, specifically the bathroom near the window, was drafty, and for some reason, the water pressure was really low, so the water was just a trickle and not very hot. I reported it to the front desk, and they gave me a key card for the room next door on the first floor, but the issue persisted. Interestingly, the rooms on the second floor didn't have these problems; the water was hot and the pressure was good. On a positive note, Binzi, a hotel staff member, was right on time to pick me up at Yabuli West Railway Station. The hotel uses a GL8 for transfers to various attractions and ski resorts throughout Yabuli, and he also helped us book ski tickets and rent ski gear, which was really commendable and deserves praise.
