"Great stay slightly let down by someone right by my room disturbing my sleep by going in and out of their room all night. They have a reception that is manned instead of a silly stand where you have to press the buzzer. Breakfast was fresh and piping hot at the buffet. Even the poached eggs was runny."

"I have been staying at the Hartlepool Marina Hotel for over 9 months for an average of 2/3 nights per week. During this time I have found the standard of customer care from all staff to be excllent, particularly Melanie, who assisted with any changes in my plans. I found the rooms to be extremely clean and of a high standard, with the ability to request top-ups during any extended stay. The facilities included teas, a coffee machine, clean towels, and during that whole period the hotel was very quiet with no disturbances. The hotel has a lift which is very useful for moving any heavy luggage with the ability to check in early if needed. The hotel is well situated near the Marina and short walk into town for restaurants etc. I travel a great deal for work and based on the above this hotel and staff deserve a five star review."
