"The cabin is located in a field, and the navigation is only 100 meters away. When we arrived, it was almost midnight, and it was difficult to find the entrance. The parking lot is just over 10 meters away, and all the connections are gravel roads. It was the first time to book a hotel with shared bathrooms, and the shared bathrooms felt very clean. The key was placed on the table of common facilities, where I washed up first, and then found our cabin No. 10 according to the map there. There are a total of 12 cabins. There are curtains in the cabins, but not enough to surround a circle. The roof is transparent, which is convenient for watching the stars and the aurora. There is enough heating and electric fans in the room. There are eye masks and earplugs at the head of the bed, but I don’t need them at all. When I woke up in the morning, the sun was shining, but I was not woken up by the sun. It is recommended to stay for one night in the season of the aurora!"
"If you are traveling around the island, starting from Reykjavik, after visiting the three main attractions of the Golden Circle, you might as well choose this hotel as your first night's stop, and then easily visit the various waterfalls in front of the town of Vik and the remains of the plane wreck on the second day.
Although the room is 16 square meters, the layout is still livable. The hotel has an anonymous breakfast and a hot spring.
Don't have too high expectations and it's OK."
"Check in by yourself, the main door is not locked (but it is very heavy, you need to pull it hard), the room has a password lock; parking is convenient, you can park on the roadside (free) or in the hotel's own parking lot; the kitchen is fully equipped, but unfortunately there are not many tables and chairs; there is a small lounge, but not much public space overall; it is quite clean; the biggest drawback may be that the room is not big."
"Amazing experience !
Everything was thought through into the last detail. The private rooms are very big & modern, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom is very stylish - the owner has a good Taste ;-) The shower has a good water power and there are many great products that one can use (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion).
The common rooms are very spacious and people come there to meet each other, have a drink and play a game.
And cherry on the top: there are fresh waffles for breakfast and coffee/tea... all you can eat! :-)
The owner is also very friendly and happy to see his guests enjoying their stay.
The best guesthouse we had so far on our trip... and we stayed already in 11.
We recommend without hesitations!"
"The town is beautiful! The room is large and the bathroom is large. It is more comfortable for a family of three. There is a restaurant downstairs. It is convenient to solve the dinner and breakfast. It is also good. It is a very suitable place to rest in the middle of the black beach to the Golden Circle."
"The restaurant tastes good. I have eaten a few hotels. This is the best. I personally feel very satisfied and very quiet. One night, there is a stargazing activity that is a plus. There are many stars in the sky and I also see the aurora!"
