Eringer Hotel
" Our stay at The Eringer Hotel in Hérémence was nothing short of exceptional—but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the food. The kitchen team exceeded expectations, with each dish crafted to perfection. A special mention must go to the incredibly talented pastry chef, Isabel. Her desserts are a work of art, infused with patience, passion, and love. Her cheesecake creation is absolutely to die for—a masterpiece of flavor and texture. The apricot sorbet was a delightfully refreshing treat, perfectly capturing the essence of the region. Isabel’s chocolate salami was something entirely different and exciting—a playful twist that impressed everyone at the table. And let’s not forget breakfast. The buffet featured Isabel’s homemade granola, paired with her homemade apricot compote and a luscious four-fruit compote. It was, quite honestly, heavenly—a perfect way to start the day. If you’re visiting Hérménence, Valais, The Eringer Hotel is a must—and try Isabel’s desserts. A truly remarkable culinary experience in an idyllic place. "
Hotel la Cambuse
"The hotel is very comfortable and helpful."
Eden Resort Anzère
"Frosty welcome upon our arrival at Eden Resort Anzère. The receptionist came running, out of breath, and carried out a rushed check-in without a smile, like a robot. No human warmth, no words of welcome. In the room: A faulty switch in the bathroom – you have to press it several times for the light to come on; a dirty glass with dried toothpaste; the shower head cord was broken and could cause a finger injury; the bathtub was somewhat clogged. She was juggling both roles of receptionist and waitress, so she was very stressed. When we calmly pointed out the issues, she sharply replied that she was very busy during restaurant service. Even at checkout, there was no willingness to listen — just a cold "ok, ok, ok." Very disappointing, and having travelled extensively, we have never experienced such unprofessional hospitality."
Woodland Village Anzère
Hotel du Pigne
"We stayed for 4 nights on a walking holiday and it is perfect for that. Car parking, easy access to comfortable room (with coffee and a stunning view), at the starting point for several great walks, very good breakfast and dinner (on half board). And a lovely terrace for post-walk beer and ice cream (different glasses). All at 2,000m above sea level. "
Hôtel de Charme la Poste
"We have enjoyed our stay in Anzère. The reception, the rooms, the restaurant, breakfast. Right price. Navigate nearby to ski. Parking place. We will return with pleasure during a next trip."
Swisspeak Resorts Thyon 4 Vallées
"This new development has been opened unfinished and it shows. They charge £15 a day for parking but they don't have enough of it so if you don't pay this crazy price you are told to 'not park on the road' and threatened with towing even in the drop down area, not very welcoming and where do they expect people with loads of ski gear to exactly park when staying here? The rooms are packed with new equipment but the showers flood and the windows drip, the pillows are like square bricks and the rooms so hot without any idea of how to reduce the heat. You are abandoned to watch an information video which provides zero information. The managers are untrained as are the senior staff, (which we emailed to advise of all issues and had a very uninterested response). The reception runs limited hours which mean there is no assistance and even if they were there, they can't help - we were wished 'good luck' by the manager only after being asked to move our car where we were simply unloading. The two internal lifts that service ski in and ski out are too busy and when calling them you are unable to get in for way too long - one of the days we had to walk down the snow with skis to get to the boot room, two levels. The doors around the hotel apartments are not yet signed properly and for a whole week a bucket with tools sat in the middle of an exit area. The stairs outside are wobbly scaffolding and I wasn't quite sure where I was going and how the safety had been considered, (we didn't observe one smoke alarm, maybe they were hidden?). The vibe on the slopes is they are having 'teething problems' I would say go enjoy the peaks but not with this many accommodation design leaks! I hope they listen to this review more than they did my complaint."
Hotel les Mélèzes
"My wife and I stayed at Les Melezes as base for a Naturetrek wildlife holiday and it was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and really comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and with plenty of choice and most important, Claudia and Dani couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommended"

Dent Blanche Resort TemptingPlaces Collection
"We stayed as a family at the Dent Blanche Resort in Hérémence, and the experience was simply exceptional. The wellness area is one of the resort's major highlights: pleasantly heated indoor and outdoor pools, a fantastic salt cave, a hammam, sauna, fitness center, and a salt flotation tank. The facilities are modern, varied, and impeccably maintained. A true haven of relaxation. The resort also offers a cocktail bar with original and innovative creations, as well as cigar tastings—a rare and refined experience. Waking up in the morning to the sun illuminating the mountains and a breathtaking view—with the Matterhorn visible—is simply magical. As for dining, the on-site restaurant is very comfortable and offers excellent value for money. Special mention goes to the après-ski bar, which immediately creates a festive atmosphere with its sun-drenched terrace, easily accessible from the chairlift departure point. I was also able to work remotely in excellent conditions, thanks to a fully equipped conference room: ideal for seminars and business trips. Having a grocery store and a sports shop right on site is a real plus for everyday life. In short, the Dent Blanche Resort is a true paradise on earth, perfect for a holiday, a weekend getaway, or a business trip, any time of year. I recommend it without hesitation!"
La Cure de Vernamiège
Aiguille de La Tza
"We enjoyed a super warm welcome, clean accommodation in an historic rustic hotel, excellent meals (dinner and breakfast), great base for Haute Route walkers, attractive setting by the river, books to read whilst avoiding a rain storm. All good."
