Heritage Park Hotel
8.8 (65 reviews)

Heritage Park Hotel ★★★★

📍 Mendana Ave, Honiara

"The location is also recommended; it's about a 20-minute walk from the airport, and a taxi should cost around 150 RMB. After exchanging currency at the airport, it's advisable to go there. There's a pier nearby, suitable for boat trips."

Coral Sea Resort & Casino ★★★★

📍 Tandai Highway Town Ground, Honiara

"The room was very clean, and the room service was excellent. I actually left cash in the safe and only realized it after I'd already flown home, but the front desk safely kept it for me until my next trip, which was incredibly helpful. Also, when I asked for advice on sightseeing in the city, they contacted a local tour operator and booked a day tour for me, which really made my stay enjoyable."

The location is very convenient, making travel and access to nearby amenities easy. "The room was spacious and clean, with a nice sea view. The only downside was the expensive restaurant and the food quality wasn't the best."

Grace Hotel ★★★
"There are not many accommodation options in the Solomon Islands. I am really satisfied with the Grace Hotel I chose. The facilities are new and complete, comparable to Atour. It is clean and tidy. I am very satisfied with it and it is suitable for business travelers."

King Solomon Hotel ★★★★
"This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I've never encountered such outrageous disrespect for customers anywhere else. On Fridays, this hotel throws a party with singing and dancing until 2 AM! This is no joke, and it's not a mistake. Until 2 AM, with the speakers blasting. The entire hotel reverberates from the din. The poor girls at the reception are deafened by the noise—the lower they are, the worse it gets—and they have to listen to complaints from reasonable guests. I was moved to a room on the very top floor, but even there it was impossible to sleep until the whole nightmare was over. All this is apparently being done to please a small group of drunken guests who enjoy this kind of thing. However, I paid for the hotel to be able to rest at night, not to be subjected to this madness. This violates every possible ethical and legal norm. The hotel, by the way, is in a pretty bad state. All the plumbing is falling apart, the doors creak, the towels and bed linens are torn, and the price is way overpriced for such a dump. I booked and paid for a transfer from the hotel to the airport well in advance, and waited in the lobby for about an hour. They tried to find out something, but nothing came of it. They sent me and another guest in a regular taxi, which wasn't even allowed to enter the airport grounds. We had to walk (it's not far, but it's a fact). Stay as far away from this place as possible!"

"On the main road but a bit far from city center, it's actually easy to go by bus for only 3SBD. Room is big, a lot of dust from the road. Expect a long time to go from the airport because of traffic jam."
