"We found a little jewel here. I only wish it was around when I was 20! Superb modern place which was just a lovely place to stay in. Staff were friendly , pool lovely , room simple and everything you wanted , more toys than you could play with in a week, skateboards , bikes etc. lovely bar area, pool table and roof top to relax in. Young people and incredibly friendly. Very good value and free parking ⭐️"

"Stayed one night on way down to Spain. Nice check in welcomed very warmly and room checked that we could enter earlier. Very nice clean room facing the lake. No tea or coffee making or even water in room. We had booked half board and when we went to dinner they sat us at a table and that’s when it all went wrong. It was a table someone had pre ordered dinner for and we explained we weren’t that couple the waiter became very surly. We asked to see the menu and he slapped down a piece of paper and told us that was what we were having…I have a life threatening allergy to shellfish and it was paella on the menu so we asked for the a la carte menu which didn’t go down well. Long and short of it is if you have half board you have to accept what is on the menu and even though we had advised when booking of my allergy, it didn’t seem to register. We were still charged for two people having set menu plus what we ordered from a la carte. Breakfast was very good with continental fayre."

The hairdryers, the safe, the small refrigerator, the bathroom with a dressing, the quality and comfort of the bed with a large bed, the calm, the view of the lake of Hossegor, the balcony to spend good moments with lighting, the diversity and the comfort of the bed. The generosity of breakfast offered up to 10:30 a.m. and can be served in your room by a very smiled staff, the cleaning staff of the rooms that make the minimum noise , a team at the top level, efficiency, The hotel is a very good hotel for the guests and is very good for the guests. I had already published a message in the past but this only confirms the quality of this hotel! Thanks for the commercial gesture ( due to this curse flu on December 31)...If you want to relax, rever, listen, observe breathe ... you are in the right place without coming from very far! This hotel is just in the right place ."

"The hotel is in a great location right on the lake and a 5 minute walk from some of the best beaches in Europe. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated but could have benefitted from a stand-alone shower rather than a bath (there’s a lot of sand around!). The vibe is relaxed and cool. The staff were attentive and very helpful. Great breakfast spread. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as we preferred the seafront bars and restaurants where you could watch the sunset. Nice pool, good wifi, free parking. Nothing to fault really."

"Although the stay was well passed, some comments. The location of the room (101) next to the lift and the air-conditioning and air-conditioning equipment, relatively noisy. The unused boiler, either filled with coffee mark or other substance(?) The breakfast was €17, a prohibitive price, which made us choose a beer shop next to. - Oh, it's a pity."

"Very good place with nice people. The hostel was very comfortable and clean. If you have the car, it's easy to go at all the beaches who are around here, but it's also possible to go at bike. We were outside all the day and just come back for lunch and sleep obviously :). It was perfect for us"

"An excellent hotel, very nice overlooking the lake, beautiful view from the very adequate terrace. Very friendly staff. No fridge but they supplied a kettle for us. They were just finishing a very expensive pool renovation but too early for us. The only downside was the restaurant - very expensive for the quality of the cuisine which was poor - we had to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was adequate but 16 euros each was excessive, especially as the egg boiler refused to work on 2 occasions - no hot buffet. Nevertheless less we enjoyed our 4 days stay."

"Before arriving with my family I was worried that it would be all surfers and backpackers, but it was great! The private rooms are bright and very clean. The outside bar is a great atmosphere, people of all ages. Non-guests visit too. Also, there is the ability to cook meals yourself. Only downside is the lack of AC, but there is a nice breeze and the weather is cool at night. All of the staff was very helpful and very nice. I’ll definitely visit again."

"We stayed at Hotel Residence Les Acanthes in 2003 and always wanted to return. The hotel recently under went a full remodel and it's wonderful. New beds and furniture, and a kitchen with a large fridge and induction cooktop. We rented a garden unit and had a nice patio and lawn. Jerome and his family were perfect hosts, and we hope to return someday."
