"I think it's worth the price. The room is on the first floor, or rather, semi-basement level, so it's dark, but that's what makes it cool.
There's no air conditioning, but there's a huge fan. It's sticky, probably covered in grease, and it's quite noisy.
There are tissues, a toothbrush, water, and tubes of shampoo and body wash.
The nights weren't too hot or too cold, so I slept reasonably well. The sunset visible from the second-floor balcony was also beautiful.
There's no laundry service, so I recommend doing your laundry in Thailand before you go."
"The owners are very kind and helpful. They exchanged Thai baht to Lao kip at a good rate and prepared breakfast for us, including an omelette, pancakes, fresh orange juice, and mixed fruits. The accommodation is in a great location by the river, right next to the pier.
I would recommend it if you’re crossing the border late from Thailand and need a convenient place to stay. We also ended up taking the slow boat tour from there."
"We were pleasantly surprised by this guesthouse: it was very clean and equipped with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The welcome was also very friendly. To top it all off, we were given a corner room at the back with windows on two sides and a beautiful view of the Mekong River."
