"Our stay at Dar Lola was quick, but it was just so nice. Small… quaint… comfortable… with great bathrooms… and an incredible host!!! Rooftop and the cats were more highlights! We unfortunately didn’t get to try breakfast, but can only assume it was great. Excellent location as well!"

"this is a lovely heritage building in the very centre of the pedestrianised souk - an oasis of quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast continental, the rooms attractively decorated with tiled bed plinths and lower walls. its central location means it's easy to nip back to whilst you're in the souk area. lovely patio for sitting reading."

"Was alright for one night stay. My flight was severely delayed, but I had no issues checking in at 3:30am in the morning. Central and close to the market/souk. Wasn't sure if the towels were used or clean as they were not folded but hanged up. There is a local supermarket directly across the road which is useful."

"Hotel Arisha is very nice with 400 years of history. Unfortunately for us staying there became a nightmare. Hotel rented it's space for the party of the famous international company without warning us about it. We come to the hotel to sleep because we have 20+ hours trip the next day. Well imagine sleeping on stage during the concert and you will get the idea. There was no way to sleep with such loud music. When we ask how long it will last they promised that the music will stop before the 23:30, but at 0:15 the music was still playing and stoped only when we come to the receptionist for the second time. I give 2 stars because they were sorry for what happened and even permits to stay in hotel a few hours more than normally. If you are young and don't mind to stay without the door to the bathroom (only the curtain) and don't need to go to sleep early this hotel can be a good choice."

"We had such a wonderful stay here. The team (including Sushi the cat) are so welcoming and kind. It is also the warmest hotel we have stayed in with central heating in the rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds. Breakfast was superb (including fresh fruit) and we organised a great half day tour via the hotel. Highly recommend Dar Lola and hope to rerun."

"The hotel has a typical setting, but unfortunately, the service has declined compared to previous years. The rooms are aging, there's noise in the lobby near the rooms, the furniture needs replacing, and the staff isn't always available. I should also mention the price: €40 a night for a shared double room on the island of Djerba is extremely expensive for accommodation not officially rated by the Tourist Office. There's no restaurant, so you have to factor in the cost of meals outside the hotel, and you'll find it more expensive than a 4-star hotel. I can no longer recommend it, unfortunately."
