Ingleton Hostel

This is probably our 8th year we have used the hostel for our school residential (year 6). I believe there is no better place to be located and hosted. We book the hostel solely. The room are perfect size and very clean. The showering and toilet facilities are great. We were full board (breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal) All meals of good quality. The meal time were flexible. We were also able to hold a disco in the dining room. The position of the hostel is a massive plus. 100yds from Ingleton outdoor heated swimming pool. 100yds from a very good playground for the children and grassed area. A short walk to fields for scenic walks. Also a short walk to access gorge walking activities. This is the perfect venue, with great friendly and 'on it' staff.

Friendly clean hostel in a good area for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The car park is a bit of a squeeze but there is alternative parking in the village.

Fantastic Hostel. Spotless clean. Grt facilities. Friendly reception always there to help. Good lounge, kitchen and dining room. Always clean. Only one comment, how about some smaller rooms with only 2, 3,4 beds for dolo travellers- happy to pay more for them. Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent 1 night stay. Nice clean rooms. Shower and Toilets all fine. Breakfast superb freshly cooked. Defo recommend.

2 friends with their 2 boys! Hostel was absolutely perfect, great location, room was great, facilities great. Would highly recommend. Probably the best Yha bunk beds we have slept on! Staff were great and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you

We stayed for two nights at Ingleton YHA for a charity hike. We had 50 mixed guests, so a fairly sizeable group. Everyone we have dealt with has been great, the rooms are clean, the surroundings are lovely, it's a great spot for a group hike like ours.

Great location to start and end a nice circular walk from Ingleton -＞ Ingleborough Cave -＞ Gaping Gill -＞ Ingleborough Summit -＞ Ingleton. From booking enquiries with conversations with Paul, to arriving; very warm reception from all staff; friendly and warm atmosphere on arrival with friendly staff with a nice lounge to relax in after a long day walking. Shared a room for 6 people with 3 bunks. Beds were very comfortable and sturdily built as one of our party on the bottom bunk noticed the good welding. Shared facilities came as individual universal toilets with a sink and individual shower rooms; it accommodated the needs of a six man walking party comfortably. Very clean throughout and bonus was the self-catering room provided some complimentary tea and coffee; the cooked breakfast was very tasty too. Was nice and quiet when we arrived back a little later - from a pub/restaurant in the local village which is welcoming too. On the consideration of noise; a nice note on a couple of the toilets said not use between 11pm and 7am to keep the noise levels down. Definitely great value for money. All in all.... a great place to rest and relax!

Excellent value and quality for our university student trip. The accommodations were great for students to live and work in for 9 days and the meals in the morning and evening were fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful, and flexible and really made sure the students and I had a comfortable and enjoyable trip.
