"It was late at night, and the parking lot was full. Fortunately, the hotel had a second parking lot in another place. It took about 3 minutes to walk. The hotel front desk would give a picture with a clear direction. The hotel bath is very small and exquisite, in addition to the hot soup, there are cold springs and sauna rooms. The room is small, but very clean, the hotel will have free tea and rice at night."

"I missed the last train and stayed in a hurry. It was a little far from the station but it was reasonable and good. It is recommended to go from another road because the road next to one is not very safe in the night town such as cabaret club. I was a little worried because I stayed alone, but the front desk was a young woman and kind, the amenities were abundant, and the charger was lent, and it was okay even if I was not prepared for the stay. It was good that the room smelled a little cigarette but it was not filthy."

"I had to change my reservation which is not usual for me and I changed room in different nights but the hotel is very nice, Kofu is lovely and if you want to relax, the onsen is perfect. The onsen being the main thing, I’ve done a few hotels like this one and it’s always a pleasure, you go straight from your room with your towel, no need to ask anything or see many people, the hours are great since it’s open all night until 10am so you can have a last time before check out."

"I was looking for a place to stay for my first visit to Takeda Shrine in Kofu, and although it was far from the station, I made a reservation because I was only going back the next day and the price was cheap.
I was on a motorbike, so I knew it was along Route 20. I had always thought it was a hotel, so I passed it once thinking it was not a building with more than three floors. (The setting sun was too bright and I couldn't see the sign?)
It turned out to be a container hotel. It was new and the rooms were very clean. The staff were very polite. They served me a free frozen lunch box for one meal. They also had self-service tea and strong coffee.
There was a convenience store about 500 meters away, but across the street there was a chain restaurant serving yakiniku, sushi, etc.
I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

"Just a heads-up, there are two of these hotels in Kofu, so make sure you choose the one near the station. The food was great, with lots of local Kofu specialties, and everything smelled delicious. The hot springs were also very relaxing. However, the hotel is located at a crossroads where pedestrians can't cross directly, so you have to walk a detour, which was a bit inconvenient."

"I checked in on a rainy day, but they thanked me for coming despite the poor footing and gave me a towel.
The breakfast was delicious, just as the reviews said.
It was convenient because it was close to the Kofu Showa IC, but I went at night on a rainy day, so it was dark and I would have missed it if I hadn't walked slowly.

"I only stayed without meals, but I didn't have any trouble because there were shops and convenience stores while walking to Kofu Station.
Since the front desk is unmanned, the check-in method will be emailed, so if you do it, you can do it without any problems.
If you have registered for LINE, you will be answered if you have a question.
We chose a room on the 4th floor where we can see Mt. Fuji if the weather is nice. There is no elevator and there are only stairs, so I think it will be difficult for those who are not accustomed to the stairs. I felt warm with a photo of the owner's trip to the stairs landing, and a map of Kofu and a tourist guide. There was an umbrella in front of the door so that I could borrow it in the rain, and if I had the entrance, I would have arranged slippers for the number of people, and I was happy to worry about the message card from the owner.
The room was large and clean, toothbrushes and bath towels were also available, and there were coffee and tea for the number of people.
The weather was nice so I could see Mt. Fuji.
It is a comfortable room.

The room was standard. I stayed here on a business trip, and although it was about a 20-minute walk from the station, it was convenient because it was close to my destination. The breakfast menu was extensive and satisfying. The staff were very polite. Personally, I would have preferred a large public bath.

Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app.
If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess.
The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer.
The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too.
Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat.

It's not new, but it's clean and well-cleaned. The facilities are a little old, but you can stay there normally. The breakfast assistance was disappointing, as none of the staff could be heard to greet you.

VlVlENVery simple hostel, with everything you need. It is quite close to the railway station and also enough food facilities are near.
I was here in summer and I have to say that air conditioning is unfortunately poorly placed (even above a bed) so that the person (naturally not to become sick) makes air conditioning out of night. However, it is insupportably warm and you can't sleep.

Guest UserThe location was good, the amenities were plentiful, and it was a comfortable stay. The baths were designated for men and women at designated times, but the large communal bath was clean.
The breakfast was also satisfying with a wide variety of options. The staff were all very friendly.
One thing that bothered me was that although it was a non-smoking room, it was an old building and there was a bit of a cigarette smell permeating the room.
I would like to use this hotel again.

The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities aren't as good as newer ones, but the location is great, close to Kofu Station, making it very convenient for getting around. Weekend prices are a bit high, but that's unavoidable—other days are even more expensive!
Wearing a seven-chakra bracelet to the foot of Mount Fuji made for a particularly wonderful travel experience!

The location is great. The price reasonably reflects what services and facilities you can get from the hostel. I think the hostel should clearly state that the room users need to make the bed while checking in and remove the bed sheets and towels during check out when booking the hostel room.

Perhaps because it's near a sports park, it felt just like a dormitory for college students on a training camp. The room itself was spacious and clean, but the common areas were dirty. Luckily, I was able to sleep peacefully last night, but as an old man, I don't think I'll ever use it again.
