Kofu Hotels with Wifi

"The reception staff doesn't want to work. They make you self-check in, and they gave me a room on the ground floor. When I asked the staff member for a room on a higher floor, she started lying, saying that this type of room was only available on that floor. The hotel has 12 floors. After my confusion and persistence, she gave me the same room on a higher floor. She didn't want to do this because she had to do it manually. The rooms have views of Mount Fuji in one direction and Kofu Castle in the other. It's convenient that there's space under the bed for suitcases. The windows open, and the air conditioning is individually controlled and quiet. There's no outlet in the bathroom, as is the case with all Toyokos. The sink in my room didn't drain well. There are no lockers for luggage; it's stored in the lobby by number. The breakfast is very modest, even compared to other Toyokos I've stayed at. The shuttle to the station runs very infrequently and at limited times, which is inconvenient. It's a 10-minute walk."

"The trailer house room was new and clean. The layout was good, the room was neat and tidy, and it was equipped with everything you needed. The bed was large and comfortable. "Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app. If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer. The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too. Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat."

"I had to change my reservation which is not usual for me and I changed room in different nights but the hotel is very nice, Kofu is lovely and if you want to relax, the onsen is perfect. The onsen being the main thing, I’ve done a few hotels like this one and it’s always a pleasure, you go straight from your room with your towel, no need to ask anything or see many people, the hours are great since it’s open all night until 10am so you can have a last time before check out."
