Okayama City Hotels with Wifi

"Facilities: The room was quite spacious; we could lay down two 30-inch suitcases flat, and there was plenty of room for a 24-inch one on the luggage rack. On our floor, there was a microwave, disposable chopsticks, and an ice machine. The shower had great water pressure, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was fully equipped, and the toiletries were POLA. Hygiene: Overall, it was quite clean, though there was a bit of dust on the windowsill, probably because it was hidden by the table and curtains. Environment: The location is very convenient. There's a Matsumoto Kiyoshi downstairs and a Lawson directly across the street. Kani Doraku is also very close, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the Shinkansen. Service: Excellent. The front desk provided complimentary amenities and consumables."

"This hotel exceeded our expectations. Traveling with our 8-year-old daughter, we were provided with a triple room. Its location is exceptionally convenient, with a dedicated walkway connecting directly to Okayama Station. The room itself was very spacious. We would have loved to try the breakfast, but as we had an early train to Takamatsu the next morning, we couldn't book it. From the smooth check-in process, it was clear this was a well-established, high-star hotel that truly prides itself on its standards."

"The staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future. 3 Things to improve on: 1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street 2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway. 3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?"

"Location: Excellent! It's super convenient – just exit the west gate of the train station, cross the road, and go through a passage. There are tons of food options nearby; a bustling snack street is right across the road. Shopping is incredibly convenient too, not to mention the mall attached to the station itself. You've got Matsumoto Kiyoshi downstairs, Don Quijote across the street, and Takashimaya. Facilities: The onsen (hot springs) alternate between male and female baths daily. One bath has an outdoor pool, while the other doesn't, but overall, the experience is still great. Service: Each day, you get a complimentary drink or alcoholic beverage at the front desk."

"Actually, it is right next to the railway but you have to take a slight detour. I think the ecology near Niwase Station is very good. You can see super cute cormorants catching big carp. The area around the hotel is very quiet. The room is quite large, much larger than the average Japanese business hotel. There are also massage chairs and jacuzzi. It is very comfortable to soak in the massage chair after walking all day. I fell asleep in the massage chair. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and always smiling. The hygiene is very clean. The soles of your feet are especially clean when you walk barefoot. There is a 711 nearby, but the hotel can also order meals. You have a good rest. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Amazing location (B1 is connected to okayama train station), spacious room, and friendly staff. The breakfast was a set breakfast (few choices available) plus a small buffet. Quite disappointed by the breakfast and the service they provided. We needed to wait a long time for the set. I won't get the breakfast again as there are plenty of options within walking distance. It's quite pricy but worth it if you need to be near the station."

"I've been to Japan over 20 times, and this is my first stay at a Smile series hotel – I'm really impressed! The room was genuinely spacious and comfortable for Japanese standards. The lobby is on the second floor and has a very charming and well-designed layout. The staff were also super friendly. I highly recommend it! Okayama is also a quiet and charming city."

"For cars that didn't fit in the hotel parking lot, there was a parking lot next door. There was a shopping mall across the street, which was very convenient (*´∀｀*) The room was clean and comfortable, but the fact that the bed sheets weren't zippered was a bit of a concern since I was staying for several nights. The amenities were excellent and very helpful. I was able to use various shampoos and conditioners, and I felt like I was able to recover from the fatigue of my business trip. Breakfast was delicious ^_^ Please see the photos I've included."

"It was my first time staying in an old house in Japan, and the environment was quite unique. The map and key were very artistic. It was also quite close to the Hokancho shopping street. However, there were a few washbasins in the common areas and a little little storage space in the rooms, so it might not be the best choice for people with large luggage."
