"Perfect for a vacation! You absolutely must get an ocean view room. They also have a well-equipped gym with excellent facilities, plus two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor, a small one and a large one. The small indoor pool is great for a splash, and you can really swim in the outdoor one, but it gets a lot of sun. The only downside is that there aren't many vegetarian options for breakfast, which isn't ideal for vegetarians or people with chronic illnesses. However, it's not a major issue as there are three healthy vegetarian restaurants downstairs."

"The lock on my door didn’t work, i had to contact reception THREE times, on the third occasion I was actually laughed at. I have raised my concerns with the property along with the mess left after they eventually did fix it (sawdust and debris all over inside and outside the room.. even in the bathroom???) The sofa in the room (5015) was heavily stained. Good points; Amenities were spot on Location fantastic The best view from the gym Pool area was immaculate The balcony albeit noisy because of the location is a bonus Housekeeping went out of their way to greet you and were really friendly But I would not stay here again, after being laughed at when I had reiterated the point I was a lone female and didn’t feel safe that my door didn’t lock (it took them 3 visits to reception and 2 days to fix)"

Есть спа салон и бассейн на крыше за доп.плату. номер был чистый, но старенький, без балкона и крохотное окно смотрело на стену. В номере, телефон телевизор холодильник фен чайник кофе"

"The hotel had some good aspects, but overall the stay was disappointing considering the expectations for the suite category. Before arriving, I emailed well in advance requesting a room on a higher floor. Unfortunately, this request was completely ignored. Although the suite category I booked extends up to the 5th floor, I was placed on the 2nd floor. The balcony faced very closely toward some run-down local housing, which made it uncomfortable to even keep the curtains open, so I couldn’t really use the balcony at all. See picture! Another issue was the air conditioning. The room never became properly cool, and it felt humid throughout the stay. After I reported it, staff came to inspect the AC and confirmed that it was centrally limited to 22°C. Despite acknowledging the issue, nothing was done to improve it. The bathroom fan was also extremely noisy. Sound insulation is poor — I could clearly hear neighbors talking and even snoring through the walls. Service was another weak point. None of the reception staff I interacted with felt particularly friendly, welcoming, or service-minded, which negatively affected the overall experience. On the positive side, the location is quite good, the gym and sauna are decent, and having washing machines available on every floor is very convenient. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen setup is good as well. Overall, the hotel has potential because of the room size and facilities, but the lack of service, poor soundproofing, and uncomfortable room temperature and room and balcony view."

"The view from the room is amazing. You can use the outdoor pool across the street! It's spacious and special. The indoor pool is cold, and there is only one jacuzzi, so you need to be careful. I was worried about the smell of the water in the room. It's not a new hotel, so that was a bit of a concern, but the service and location are good, so I recommend it overall."

"Review: 115 The Strand Hotel by NEU Collective Stayed: May 16–19 The location of the hotel is excellent — very convenient for getting around, and check-in was smooth. We stayed in Room 609, which was a standard room, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The room felt very small and the decor was dull and depressing. The bathroom was extremely tiny — even for two petite women, it was uncomfortable. Sitting on the toilet, your knees almost touch the sink, and the shower space is so tight you can barely turn around. The hallway had a musty smell, possibly from water leakage. Overall, the room experience was not pleasant. The lobby staff were not very helpful. They didn’t tell us about the facilities on the 8th floor — there’s a small sauna, jacuzzi, and a tiny indoor pool. If I had known earlier, I would’ve taken advantage and enjoyed some time there despite the limited size. That said, the rest of the hotel facilities were much better. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight — the food was delicious and the views were beautiful and uplifting, especially during breakfast. A big bonus was access to the outdoor pool at Aqualuna Malta just across the street. I spent two lovely days there enjoying the ocean view with a bottle of Prosecco — very relaxing. Overall, I would consider staying here again, but only if I can book a better room. The location and facilities are great — just be aware of the room quality and ask about all the amenities upfron!"

"The price outside the season is amazing. The following comments do not change my overall very good assessment. The apartment is clean and very spacious although it is not new so some doors sometimes in the closet were poorly opened or broken window in one of the bathrooms ( I don't know if someone told them this , maybe they just don't know ). Small shortages of equipment such as rod/float for .... but it's a little bit. Beautiful view and close windows are good silence near the busy street. If someone wonders, the sofas in the living room are not folded."
