"I bought it when it was expensive, so it was a bit pricey. I think it would be good value if you book early enough! There isn't much around the hotel, which was a bit surprising, but it does have a pool. If you only look for the best, there are many good hotels out there."

"It has always been relaxing and homey to stay at Canyon Cove. My husband and I have been its customers since 2018 (except during pandemic era).  There are quite a lot of improvements in terms of home and continuous ramp-up of its services - staff have become more attentive, accommodating and helpful. However there certain things that I, personally would like to see retained like - the wooden windows which add nostalgia and old style appeal to it. It’s like a fusion of old and new - modern TVs, new ACs, working safe (for valuables), electronic doors and the old personal ref (kindly fix lavatory faucet in room 507).  I love the breakfast buffet - the coffee is superb…the  by-request egg cooking has a long waiting line (the cooked eggs I believe would be good already unless you increase the number that cooks the by-request omelette). We also love the sinner grilled food by the sea. One comment on the free dinner though (for the condo presentation). it lessens the crowd for the dinner cook-out, it somehow getting abused by people. The cook-out dinner has become sad when it used to be so much fun. Hoping to see more improvements like building ramps to the beach for seniors to enjoy the sea.  Over-all it was fun, relaxing and lovely to experience Canyon Cove and God’s beauty surrounding it. I will keep coming back."

"I recently decided to have a spontaneous staycation at Sotogrande Batangas (April 11-12) just to relax, and I’m honestly flabbergasted! At first, I was a bit hesitant because the location is quite secluded, but the moment I stepped inside, all my doubts vanished. ✨The Ambiance: Ang ”nakakayaman” vibes ng Lower and Upper Ground floors are top-tier! Everything looks high-quality, from the furniture to the color palette. Sobrang relaxing sa mata. I also noticed they have a specific room for kids (perfect for families waiting for check-in/out) and even a dedicated room for nail services. You can really tell they designed the place for ultimate rest and relaxation. ✨The Room (Superior Twin): I booked a Superior Room with twin beds and grabe, I couldn’t ask for more! The bed was so comfy and clean—the moment I laid my tired body down, ayaw ko na bumangon. The room features are complete: television, stable Wi-Fi, excellent airconditioning, a mini-bar, and a total highlight—a bathtub! Napakabongga at napakalinis. ✨Facilities & Dining: The pool area is very relaxing and well-maintained. It was heartwarming to see families and kids enjoying themselves. As for the breakfast buffet? Hindi biro ang menu nila! Every dish was delicious. Maraming salamat sa masarap na pagkain! ✨The Service (The Best Part!): What truly sets this hotel apart is the quality of service. The staff provides a very welcoming vibe, from the security personnel to the front office. A huge shoutout to Sir Josh (Front Office Manager) and Ma’am Cess (who assisted me during check-in/out). Napakaganda at napaka-welcoming ng vibes nila—they really know their job well! Sotogrande Batangas surpassed all my expectations. If you're looking for the perfect place to recharge, this is it. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back."

"Overall, it was a great experience. The amenities were amazing — lots of activities to enjoy, whether you're into relaxing or staying active. You definitely won’t run out of things to do! The food was delicious, and the staff were all so kind and accommodating. They even granted our request for a room with a stunning view of Taal Volcano — waking up to that scenery was truly unforgettable. Cleanliness was good, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. There’s a little room for improvement, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with great food, fun activities, and breathtaking views, I highly recommend Canyon Woods!"

"On the way to Matabungkai Beach, my friend got stabbed by an old iron and contracted tetanus. While I was going back to the hotel to get a ride to the hospital and get a light disinfection, my friend collapsed. Thanks to the quick response of the staff, there were no problems. I had to wait outside until the treatment at the hospital was over (about 2 hours), and it was a disappointing hotel for just one night. The swimming pool, food, and massage were all perfect. If I go to the Philippines again in the future, this is one of the hotels I will definitely book 😎😎"

"Very nice place to stay with families,mganda ung weather nung pumunta kmi kasi d masyado mainit at mejo windy kaya mganda pwede mgswim s pool though ung beachfront d tlga pwede mgswim pero u can hunt sea shells and small crabs s seashore kasi mangrove area kasi sya…mejo limited ung plated breakfast nila pero okay n rin…mganda room na double cabana very spacious khit 6 pax kau carry p rin…highly recommended!!!!"

"I chose this because of the location beside the mall, infront of the bus terminal and many restaurants around. The hotel is kinda old inside, its clean and the appliance are all working fine. The price is good for a solo traveller like me who stayed overnight. The staff at the lobby are all friendly and helpful to all my question."
