"One of the best - if not THE best - hotel experience/s we ever had!!! ❤️ This small and cute hotel is something like a jewel! The one staff we met was adorable and so kind and caring that we felt right at home and even felt sorry that after only one night we had to leave for our next spot to visit! The hotel is gorgeous, the service impeccable, the breakfast!!! OMG!!! Just look at the pictures and you'll know what I mean! The breakfast was a piece of art made with love 💕 But, originally, the hotel is called Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery, because all the sculptures you can see on the pictures were made by the owner - it vibes so well with the whole Ephesus area and it's beautiful ancient buildings, ruins, ... We got a nice upgrade to a bigger room that we could directly leave through a door to the inner courtyard where breakfast was served - super convenient! The courtyard was so peaceful that we felt like hearing ancient whispers coming from all around us... So much history!!! So much to see and having this wonderful hotel as the base to discover from was the best choice we could make! No need to mention that the room was simple but very nice and clean, comfy and big bed, nice lighting, spacey bathroom with very modern standard. Aircon as well, but we preferred to use the big fan on the ceiling instead ... There was a little fridge in the room and the beverages inside were free to take, so we were happy about the water after a hot and sunny day ... ☀️ Also, whenever we were on the way in or out, we were offered coffee, tea, water, juice, fruits ... you can see the fruit plate that we happily enjoyed as a mid-day snack ... If you ever visit Selçuk and Ephesus Ancient Town - and you should because it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - you should definitely book one, or even better two or three days at Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery!!! Btw, it's also in easily walkable distance to the Ephesus Archeological Museum, the İsa Bey Mosque, St. Jean Church, the Ayasuluk Citadel, ... Another great plus was the fact that we could park the car right in front of the hotel. Last but not least, we received a beautiful little gift from the hotel employee who was taking care of us so kindly - she had sculptured the little elephant that you can see on the last picture by herself! A very special gift for us! 🎁 ❤️"

You're crossing three boundaries here. The first is as a guest at your hotel. The second is because of my age. I'm the same age as your son. Imagine if you had a daughter, would you like an older man to behave with her? And the third is as a woman, do you even know what goes on in a woman's head when you receive this kind of remark, even though you weren't suspicious? As a woman, you feel scared and you're measuring the level of danger that the man in front of you represents, because you are alone, vulnerable, not in your country. When you criticize truck drivers who only want to pick up female hitchhikers because they are interested in sex with them, you are no different from that kind of person by behaving like that with me. It's 2025, I'm a woman, and I no longer accept this kind of inappropriate and disrespectful behavior from men. "Tuncay and Rose made us feel so welcomed. They are helpful with our requests and patient with our questions. It’s very comfortable for our 3 nights stay. Very convenient to get around with buses n taxi. Many ATMs, convenient shop at walking distance. Good breakfast served fresh and warm. Highly recommended!"

"We love that the location is very convenient, close to restaurants, shops around and if you happen to go kn Saturday, you will have the time to enjoy the local market happening every Saturday morning to evening. Everything at the market was reasonably priced. When we arrived, the room was iced cold for a good few hours and unfortunately it didn’t get warmer so we contacted the receptionist and they assisted us right away. Although the room wasn’t so spacious, but we had a comfortable stay here. The receptionist (a man), we dont know his name but he can communicate in English, very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back! We love Selcuk."
