Mountain View Hotels in Selcuk

One of the best - if not THE best - hotel experience/s we ever had!!! ❤️ This small and cute hotel is something like a jewel! The one staff we met was adorable and so kind and caring that we felt right at home and even felt sorry that after only one night we had to leave for our next spot to visit! The hotel is gorgeous, the service impeccable, the breakfast!!! OMG!!! Just look at the pictures and you'll know what I mean! The breakfast was a piece of art made with love 💕 But, originally, the hotel is called Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery, because all the sculptures you can see on the pictures were made by the owner - it vibes so well with the whole Ephesus area and it's beautiful ancient buildings, ruins, ... We got a nice upgrade to a bigger room that we could directly leave through a door to the inner courtyard where breakfast was served - super convenient! The courtyard was so peaceful that we felt like hearing ancient whispers coming from all around us... So much history!!! So much to see and having this wonderful hotel as the base to discover from was the best choice we could make! No need to mention that the room was simple but very nice and clean, comfy and big bed, nice lighting, spacey bathroom with very modern standard. Aircon as well, but we preferred to use the big fan on the ceiling instead ... There was a little fridge in the room and the beverages inside were free to take, so we were happy about the water after a hot and sunny day ... ☀️ Also, whenever we were on the way in or out, we were offered coffee, tea, water, juice, fruits ... you can see the fruit plate that we happily enjoyed as a mid-day snack ... If you ever visit Selçuk and Ephesus Ancient Town - and you should because it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - you should definitely book one, or even better two or three days at Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery!!! Btw, it's also in easily walkable distance to the Ephesus Archeological Museum, the İsa Bey Mosque, St. Jean Church, the Ayasuluk Citadel, ... Another great plus was the fact that we could park the car right in front of the hotel. Last but not least, we received a beautiful little gift from the hotel employee who was taking care of us so kindly - she had sculptured the little elephant that you can see on the last picture by herself! A very special gift for us! 🎁 ❤️

We stayed at Nisanyan Hotel, nestled in the hills near Ephesus. The charming little town of Şirince is just about a 10-minute walk up the hill from the hotel. It's a small town, but it has some lovely local shops and taverns, and the atmosphere really captures that Turkish village feel. We paid to upgrade to a detached, two-story villa this time. The room was incredibly spacious: two bedrooms upstairs, a living room downstairs, and a large fireplace. The overall sense of space was great, making for a very comfortable stay – perfect for a family looking to relax and unwind. It's worth noting, though, that the room definitely has a vintage feel. Both the building and the furniture are a bit older. If you're someone who prefers 'new hotels' or 'modern decor,' you might want to adjust your expectations beforehand. However, if you appreciate accommodation with a touch of history and a rustic style, you'll likely find it quite charming. We visited in winter, and the town closed quite early in the evenings, with fewer people around and not many restaurant or activity options. Luckily, the hotel's own restaurant was pretty good, and our dinner experience was satisfying. Overall, this hotel is better suited for a slow-paced, holiday-style trip. If you're just passing through for one night, it might feel a bit wasted. But if you stay for 2-3 days, taking your time to relax in the mountains and enjoy the surrounding scenery, your experience will be much better. Coming in the summer would probably be livelier and have more of a vacation vibe.

The hosts were excellent from first point of contact to us checking out and leaving our luggage while we did some last minute sight seeing before our train departure. Breakfast was wholesome and filling and the lady in the kitchen was delightful. The patio area was beautiful, the room tastefully decorated and well maintained, as was the rest of the property. The owners made reservations for us at a restaurant nearby (Sofas) where we were treated to Turkish music and the best meal we had experienced in Turkey. We were given tips to enhance our visit to archeological sites and were even chaperoned to Ephesus at no extra charge. I did not want to leave but our onward travel was already organised. I thoroughly recommend Nilya and would gladly return on any future visit to Turkey. 11/10. thank you for making our Turkey experience that much better. Katrina

We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Mary's House. It's a beautiful hotel, most welcoming, and well-placed for public transport, restaurants and shops. The neighbourhood is peaceful and has a lot of charm. The many personal touches around hotel really do add up to create an exceptional experience. The host Mr Buğra (hope I've got that right after his very patient and informative explanation of Turkish spelling and pronunciation) was lovely and eager to share local information with us. Each day the delicious breakfast was beautifully served. The perfect place to stay if visiting Selçuk and Ephesus.

The house is in the olive grove on the mountain, similar to a Chinese farmhouse, the environment is very good, the room is large, the breakfast is also very rich, it is more suitable for self-driving tours, convenient parking.

This place is located in the Old Town, very close to the archaeological museum, which is a must-see – all the treasures from Ephesus are there. The owner was very welcoming. We forgot to return our audio guides, and the owner kindly returned them for us without charging anything.

The guesthouse has a fantastic location, overlooking Selçuk and offering views of the castle in the distance. Walking with luggage can be difficult, but driving is very convenient. The hotel is cozy, and the breakfast is healthy and delicious.

We stayed for four nights in this small town of Selcuk. This hotel has a good location, it is walking distance to Selcuk Otogar, local bus stop, saturday market and Selcuk Muzeum. Isabey Camii and Basilica of St John are within walking distance from this hotel. The famous Ephesus Archaeological Site is just 5 minutes drive using a local bus. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable with clean bedsheets. Two bottles of mineral water are provided daily. A good breakfast is provided including boiled egg, cheese, steamed potato, bread, fruit juice, tea, etc. The environment is quiet and peaceful, it is enjoyable to stay here.

It's right from Selchuk station, so you won't get lost, and the bus to Ephesus is nearby and the location is great. There were many restaurants and supermarkets around. There is no elevator, but the staff helped me carry it. Do you have a family? It was very kind. ３ The room was small because I stayed with people. But the breakfast was also volume and very delicious. It is a hotel that I want to stay if I have another chance.
