Sanco Inn Iseshi-Ekimae Shikinoyu
"The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Ise Grand Shrine, and there are many restaurants with great quality. The public bath isn't huge, but the water in the tubs is nice and hot. I especially liked the shampoo and shower gel provided there."
Hotel Vison
"This is the second time I have stayed at VISON since the end of last year. Last year we stayed at HATAGO, but HONZO-SPA was very good and they have a new sauna, so we used the HOTEL on this trip. There is a bathroom on the terrace of the room, but we did not plan to use it. It gives you some privacy, but personally I would prefer a lower tree than the terrace to have a view. The hotel breakfast buffet was good enough and the overall impression was very good."
EN Hotel Ise
"Wouldnt recommend a triple for stays longer than 2n unless its only a place to sleep. Other then that very friendly staff always ready to make recommendations and close proximity to ise jingu by driving."
Toyoko Inn Iseshi Eki
"The service was good when I first entered the hotel, but after I got to my room, I tried to ask if there was free Wi-Fi on the phone in the room, but it didn't connect. I was confused, so I went down to the front desk, but they couldn't tell me why. After a while, I realized where to insert the card, and when I did, all the equipment in the room started working again. I wish I'd asked about that at the beginning. When I went to take a bath, there were hairs on the sink and on the floor that were clearly not my own. The room had a great view and was very nice."
Hotel Castle Inn Ise Meotoiwa
"Great location! Waking up in early morning and walked to Meiotoiwa power spot was such a fresh start of the day. Sea breeze and calm wave brought us a serene mind on our 2nd day of January. However, room was quite outdate but clean. I was surprised by thin wall that you can heard the person next room singing song when they’re showering lol. Breakfast line and space as well as private bath is quite limited. Better to arrive and early check in to pre book both BF time and private bath."

"Stayed two nights in a twin room from December 12th to 14th, 2023. Self check-in and check-out were both done via QR code, with staff available to assist if needed. The room used a four-digit electronic lock, and the main entrance was locked from 10 PM to 7 AM, requiring the same code for entry. It was quiet and comfortable, though opening the window would let in mosquitoes as there was no screen. The blackout curtains in the room were excellent, and the bed and bedding were very comfortable! The bathroom had a great dry/wet separation setup. Simple kitchenware and utensils were provided, which was thoughtful and convenient for self-catering! It's about a ten-minute walk to Toyouke Daijingu Shrine and also a ten-minute walk to the train station. The paid parking lot offered free access for vehicles and cost ¥1000 per night."
Hotel Castle Inn Ise
"onnsenn very good"
Comfort Hotel Era Ise
"Very clean, and conveniently located."
FLYCAT INN Ise
"My mother and I stayed here together. The bed was small and the refrigerator in the room was tiny, but considering the location and price, we were very satisfied. The room was new and clean. We would definitely stay here again. If you have trouble entering your reservation number or name when checking in, you can inquire by phone."

Ise City Hotel
"Dated but still very comfortable… there’s a supermarket nearby …easy 5 min walk to the train station"
Hotel Areaone Ise Inter
"The hotel is located near the expressway, but there is not much traffic noise. The front desk clerk is polite and tries his best to communicate in English. The breakfast is great value for money and I think it is delicious. The downside is that you have to walk up the stairs to the front desk entrance and exit."
Koyoken
"Experience the fun of a Japanese inn"
Iwatokan
"Although we were late for check-in, they welcomed us warmly. When we checked out, they were concerned about how to get home and kindly told us the train times, which was very helpful! The ocean view from our room was beautiful."
Nisshokan
"Couple was super friendly. Stay was very comfortable. Google translate helped break communication barriers :)"
Hamachiyokan
"Very nice view. The staff were very friendly and helpful."
Ryoso Uminocho
"It feels like a secluded retreat. Because of the weather, I listened to the sound of a storm all night. It was an amazing experience."
Inishieno yado IKYU【Reopening in April, 2026】
"The facilities are new and clean, and the environment is quiet. The terrace has a private patio, but there is no bathroom next to it. It would be better if the service staff could introduce the facilities in more detail."
Oishiya
"We stayed for two nights at Oishiya and had an amazing experience. The facilities are clean and beautiful and the staff is great. They are so welcoming and helpful and willing to do whatever it took to ensure that we had a great stay. Our room was beautiful and had a great view. We especially loved the tub inside the room. The breakfasts and dinners provided were also delicious and unlike any other meals we had in Japan during our trip. We would come back and stay at Oishiya again."
Isegekusando Iseshinsen
"I initially felt the room rate was a bit high, but after staying, I was completely satisfied. The staff were excellent, the room was lovely, and the food was truly delicious. It was well worth the price."
Somin-No-Yu Hotel Seikai
"All good, great hotel for enjoying local attractions"
Saiou No Miya
"My husband and I stayed at Saio no Miya, which is close to the Inner Shrine, for a visit to Ise Grand Shrine. In previous years, we have made a day trip and visited the Outer Shrine, Tsukiyomi Shrine, Inner Shrine, Sarutahiko Shrine, and Tsukiyomi Shrine, but this time, due to physical exhaustion and to celebrate my birthday, we decided to stay overnight. We were greeted with a welcome gong, and at dinner we were surprised with a birthday cake and a commemorative photo. We were very grateful that they even made a calendar out of the photo when we left. I didn't think there was a large public bath, but we were told there was one at Sen no Yashiro, so we were able to soak in the hot springs, which was great. We also used the premium lounge, but as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I would have appreciated some sweets like cookies or chocolate. I accidentally stepped on the curtain in the room and broke the hook on the curtain rail, but I was relieved that they kindly forgave me. I'm so sorry. Lastly, I would like to thank all the staff for their smiles and thoughtfulness. Thank you very much."
Ise Todaya Ryoan
"The meal was very delicious."
NIPPONIA HOTEL ISEKAWASAKI MERCHANT TOWN
"The hotel atmosphere and the service quality were amazing and unfotgeytable. The hotel is designed as traditional Japanese houses which gave us peace and relaxing atmosphere. It is located in 10 mins walk from the Iseshi station and not too far way from Ise Jingu by taxi. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable on the history and culture of Ise, which was very interesting and we never got bored on listening to his talk. We will definitely come back here when we visit Ise Jingu for our prayer."
Hatago Vison
"The hotel is normal and clean. It is in a resort area with beautiful scenery. There are many things to eat. I tried Ise lobster sashimi and Matsusaka beef here. I also had herbal soup. It meets all the standards of a vacation and is worth a visit. Chinese tourists who cannot come here by themselves need to check the bus time in advance."
