"Well located in the city of Itoshima, the hostel was spacious, clean and next to the city center and the train station. The people who run this hostel are incredibly caring and adorable people. We would have thought we were on vacation with our grandparents, we were so well received. Fun fact: when we left, when we arrived at the station, we saw that the hotel manager had followed us by bike because he thought we had forgotten a piece of clothing. This devotion to customers is admirable!"

"Booked through Trip.com for a one-night stay on February 1, 2026. Throughout the booking process, the platform sent real-time email notifications about the progress. The day before check-in, at 9 AM, the platform also sent an email with the access code for the house and a link for online check-in (where you can pre-fill your details). After filling it out, you receive a QR Code. Upon entering the room, you log in using the QR Code on the tablet in the living room, and then complete the check-in process by video call with the staff. The steps were not difficult, and it was quite convenient and fast. The house has three bedrooms: two double beds on the 1st floor and one Japanese-style room on the 2nd floor. However, the heating on the 1st floor couldn't be turned on, so we had to move the duvets to the 2nd floor and sleep on the floor. The bathroom is on the 1st floor and includes a washer/dryer combo. The kitchen is on the 2nd floor and comes with coffee capsules and basic cooking utensils. It's a very convenient guesthouse, and you can park two cars right in front. The ice maker noise mentioned in other reviews wasn't really audible from Room 105, or maybe I'm just a deep sleeper. If I have another chance to visit Itoshima, I would definitely stay here again!"

"This guesthouse is very well located; the train station is just a few hundred meters away, there's a convenience store (konbini) very close by, and several other shops nearby. Check-in is easy, there's space to store carry-on luggage at the entrance, a locker for valuables, and a refrigerator. The building itself is very clean and seems new. There are plenty of showers and toilets, and the beds are quite comfortable. The only drawbacks I would mention are the lack of storage for checked luggage, the absence of bedside lamps for reading or other activities, and the lack of hangers or storage space in the rooms. There's a lounge on the ground floor where you can spend 30 minutes eating or pay to stay longer, have a drink, eat what's available, watch TV, Netflix, listen to music, or simply relax. I only encountered one staff member, a woman who looked after the rooms, and she was very pleasant and attentive. I recommend this guesthouse, which is also the most convenient place to stay in the area and the cheapest. I enjoyed my stay there!"

"Location is good. Lots of eateries outside hotel. Hotel parking at ¥1000 per night. Front desk staff- Mr. Suganawa is friendly and especially helpful. Thank you, Suganawa-San! Free flow of nuts, coffee, soft drinks and alcohol for guests at lounge. Amenities is available at self service at lobby. Room is small. Though room is renovated but the dresser and headboard seem very old."

"Overall good, just in the rain, the whole experience is a bit discolored. The curtain is separated from the toilet. You have to go out first to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Fortunately, it is only five to six steps away and it will not feel too cold."
