"This hotel is a complete surprise. It's called Jiayun, what a nice name. I didn't have high hopes when I booked it. I saw that it was a 10-minute walk to Izumo Taisha Shrine, with one night for one person and two meals, and the price was right. When I arrived, I found that the whole hotel had been renovated. It is exquisite and tasteful, with perfect details. There are no fake flowers, and the flower arrangements are very clean. The service is even more enthusiastic and proactive. They have the ability to receive foreigners. The staff who sent me to the room and served dinner provided Japanese service without any discounts. They used a translator to translate every sentence. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. There is a hot spring cypress bathing pool. Now the hot springs with the words "loan kiri" are all free. There is delicious ramen at 10 pm. The meal is very good at this price. There is no pick-up service. Take the bus from Izumo Station to Izumo Taisha Shrine at 2:30 pm for 30 minutes. Apple navigation is very accurate. Now I am in Jia Suiyuan Minami in Tamatsukuri Onsen. It is too old. Although the price is higher and the reputation is greater, it is completely inferior to Jiayun. It still needs a renovated hotel"

"good location recommend I think this is the best hotel in the area. It's about a 7-minute walk from Oda Station. The room is spacious, you can see the coastal scenery from the balcony, and the most convenient facility is the salt seawater pool. I put on my swimsuit and got into the pool, and it felt like it would improve my blood circulation, and even though I've had trouble sleeping recently, I slept soundly all night. On my next trip to Shimane Prefecture, I'll be staying here for another night 😄 The attached photos were taken of lunch at the hotel, the train, the nostalgic train, the famous Izumo Taisha Shrine, and Izumo soba."

"The soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything the neighbors did and the shower water upstairs. There were also many noise sources in the room: the air conditioner, the clock, the refrigerator—all of which combined to make for a awful night. I was woken up at 2 AM by the shower water upstairs, but thankfully I was exhausted and fell back asleep quickly. I can't imagine how someone with light sleep would feel in this environment. Disposable slippers cost 60 yen a pair… Are you really that short of money? And you're recommending a membership card?? Who wants to be a member? Breakfast was free, but I didn't eat it. Even though the pandemic has been going on for years, there are still partitions on the table—it's not a proper place to eat. Forget it, I shouldn't have had any illusions about Toyoko."

"I have the most memorable experience here. The hotel is accessible by car. They have a small car park for guests (free parking). The room has a pretty jacuzzi overlooking the sea, which is perfect. The setting of the hotel is surreal and wonderful for a perfect rest. Take note that the room doesn't have a TV, which works for me as I really wanted a good rest. I booked the dinner and breakfast, which was made with local produce and meat. It's just perfect! Absolutely delicious. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and polite. Love every bit of it."

"It’s hard to say what I like most about this place. On one hand, I want to start off by saying how incredible the view is. The placement of these two cottages is energizing. Perhaps more energizing is the staff. They are so kind and thoughtful and add a warm, personal touch. I was honored to have my main point of contact be the wife of the head priest of this incredible temple! And to top it off, I was honored again to meet the head priest himself, Daiko Iizuka. My conversation with him, meeting his wife and daughter, being able to walk around this peaceful property that dates back over 1000 years; the whole experience is something that can’t be replicated and I am still grateful to have experienced it."
