They were delicious. The hot springs were very comfortable. However, there were too many people and I didn’t have the chance to soak in a private hot spring. There were also free ramen and kimono rentals. It was a good choice to go to Izumo Taisha Shrine~ It’s close to the Izumo tram station. It’s a little far away from the main shrine but the road is quite easy to walk!"

"This was my first time staying at this type of accommodation, but it was very comfortable. This time, we were with my child, so the size was just right, and we were very satisfied with the facilities. We didn't have hot springs or meals, so I think it was a little pricey, but best of all, it was within walking distance to Izumo Taisha Shrine! We were able to visit first thing in the morning, and there was a supermarket right in front of us. I brought my PC with me to submit an assignment, and I was impressed with the desk, which was just the right size. I would like to stay here again. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling with two people. As everyone has written, the stairs are steep, but there are handrails, and I slept well without being bothered by the sound of cars outside."

"Just two words, perfect! This can be said to be my favorite stay experience during my trip to Japan, a treasure trove of cottages in the quiet mountains! It was very clean, with complete furniture and kitchen supplies, including an oven, microwave, induction cooker, coffee machine, and even two induction cookers. I also prepared a pot of tea in a thermos in advance, which really warmed me up! I drove 15 minutes to a nearby supermarket to buy ingredients and ate hot pot at home. It was so happy and comfortable! As soon as you open the doors and windows, you can see the beautiful scenery of mountains and lakes. It is very comfortable to watch the sunrise and drink coffee in the morning. My husband got up early on purpose to go for a morning run. The whole feeling of being in a paradise is so comfortable that we don’t want to go home. However, it would be very inconvenient if you can't drive here. I still recommend friends who drive to come here to steal half a day of leisure, which is very healing. Please note that you need to take the garbage away by yourself. If you need the hut management to deal with it, you need to spend 50 yen to buy a garbage bag and hand it in to the office staff. It also needs to be sorted. Combustible garbage, cans and plastic bottles all need to be packed in different garbage bags."

There are many delicious foods and it is very lively during the day. The hotel facilities are very complete, the breakfast is exquisite and delicious, and there is a hot spring for bathing."

"All amenities are provided, and you can enjoy curry rice for breakfast. Local fruits were also sold in the shop area! Shine Muscat grapes (about 20-30 grapes?) were an incredible bargain at ¥300!!! They were incredibly sweet and delicious!!! The sauna and open-air bath were also included, which was fantastic! If I had one piece of advice for everyone, it would be: When booking through this app, if you specify whether you prefer a capsule bed on the first or second floor, they seem likely to accommodate you! (I haven't tried this myself, so please confirm.)"

"Kai Izumo is one of the second-tier hotels under the Hoshino Resorts group in Japan. Located in Shimane Prefecture, it's close to the sea but a bit far from the city center, making it convenient to get there by car or private vehicle. The Misaki Lighthouse is right next to the hotel. They offer sunrise and sunset rooms, and the stay includes two meals. Dinner is quite substantial, and breakfast is generally Japanese style. There's a Japanese-style performance at 9:00 PM. Overall, it's a pretty good experience."
