"Just wanted to give a warning to other families with small children so you aren’t blind sighted the way we were. We arrived here at 6:30pm the day before Thanksgiving after being on the road for 5 hours. Got our stuff and kids settled in our room which was on the second floor. Our kids were running around and we got a call from the front desk from Connie asking us if we could ask the children to settle down. Fair enough. We told the older two (8 & 5) to settle down and sat them down to eat. At that point, our 18 month old was the only one running around, because he’s a baby and he doesn’t understand “no running”. We then got a call from Connie very rudely telling us that if she got another complaint that she was going to have to kick us out of the hotel. This was 7:30pm when she threatened to kick us out. We had been there for an hour. We then spent the rest of the evening holding our crying 18 month old who just wanted to move around because we had no where else to go if we got kicked out. We did call the corporate offices and filed a complaint with them as well. But as a family that has 3 small children, I hated that we didn’t have the ability to relax in a room that we paid for. What was most frustrating was that the complaints came from workers that were resting up for the night shift there. It wasn’t complaints from other guests. I’m generally not one to leave bad reviews. But this experience was so stressful and I would hate for another family to experience the same thing that we did. "

"Pros: In the middle of town with a good restaraunt next door. Easy to locate. Good air conditioning. Cons: Bath tub constantly dripped all night, the tub was stained yellow from the longtime dripping. Shower curtain had black mildew across the bottom. Overall, not worth the price."

"My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting. Our room was spotless with a comfortable bed, the grounds were lovely, and the food was delicious. The interior design of the Inn was charming and cozy. It was fun getting to know the other guests who were there and having coffee and breakfast with them in the morning. We were there for the Spirit's Night event, which was a coursed out dinner menu with cocktail pairings, all with a 1940s theme. They have other events that we are looking forward to. We highly recommend this place!"
