Best Hotels in Jena, Germany

This is a wonderful hotel. The standard room looks like a luxury compared to competitors. You can feel like an important person. On the respiratory they speak different languages. Also provide a travel ticket for all the time staying at the hotel. Great breakfast.

Pleasant hotel if somewhat dated in general furnishings and atmosphere. Not many of the rooms were occupied on my visit. Located on the southern edge of Jena but the terminus of the number 2 tram is a 7 minute walk away and a public transport ticket is included in the hotel price. Ample free car parking at the hotel. Rooms are comfortable with tea/coffee facilities, modern bathrooms (very good shower), large comfortable beds. The breakfast was fine, if a little uninspiring - standard selection, some regional touches would have been appreciated. I feel Covid is having a continuing effect on employing staff - throughout my stay there was never anyone on reception! Had to ring the bell for service; they were very helpful when they appeared!

The hotel is very centrally located and is very modern. We had a deluxe room at the Steigenberger. The too close itself is generous and thus corresponds to the 4 stars mentioned. The room had a bathtub, which isn't exactly standard these days. I can't judge the breakfast service, since in my opinion it is clearly too expensive. The only criticism is the not really working air conditioning. This was not really up to the summer temperatures. What strikes me about almost every hotel is the lack of a clock in the room. Another negative point from my point of view are the relatively expensive fees for the underground car park. You could certainly offer a more customer-friendly and cheaper method. On the whole, this hotel is recommended.

The hotel is re has been centrally located at least you are fast in the city centre. The rooms are equipped with the most necessary. Unfortunately you hear the nearest train quite well. Breakfast was not included in our room price; € 8,- or € 4,- for children. The hotel has its own free parking. Recommended from the second floor, since the floor can be viewed directly from the parking area into the room.

It was my first time in the hotel, the staff is very welcoming and extremely friendly. Started with the check-in, very accommodating and helpful, restaurant staff was very helpful and even gave recommendations for little bars within Jena. Food was typical regional food and extremely tasty - regards to the chef. Meeting rooms are big and lunch is available as well. Rooms are practical but very quiet. Internet connection has not been an issue even on the 2nd floor. You can walk into the city center and train station Jena Paradies is very close by. Big parking space opposite side of the hotel. Can´t wait to come back !

Prepayment is required, be so common in the house.... The alternative reception team of a play student and a young Russian made the bad first impression on the following day. No baggage help. Room small, to the courtyard, over a firearm parquet, partly with persistent tape coating. Putting door is continuously open. TV - device with too small screen size. Rooms charm of the 1980s. Bathroom unacceptably small, almost no deposit areas. Wi-Fi there, but only at a certain location in the room outside the bed. Room good, breakfast best, rich. Individual chairs in the room show no dressing and broken seats under the consumed connection. Eating good, friendly service with insufficient wine advice. Fee for the courtyard parking 6€/d.
