"Staying with family, booked 3 rooms, Because it was not check in time, we wanted to access the beach first, the receptionist suggested that the car be parked in the beach field, we thought it was in the beach area because we were villagers 🙄.. there were no parking signs.. the car entered the beach area not far from the asphalt road, it turned out to be stuck in sand, backing up was no longer possible Because of the beach sand, the security guard's initiative was to at least ask for help.. Bae was quiet, just looked at us/smiled.. made us annoyed.. we tried it ourselves.. although in the end the car was able to escape from the beach sand area.. but it was a bad experience staying here... Bad service..."

"I had an extremely disappointing stay at Seaside Villa in Jepara. The staff were unprofessional, unfriendly, and outright rude from the moment I arrived. I was refused check-in before 2:00 PM unless I paid almost the same price as a full night’s rent, which is completely unreasonable and felt like exploitation rather than hospitality. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and nothing like the pictures advertised. There was a strong, unpleasant smell, making the stay very uncomfortable. The toilet was dirty and unhygienic, clearly not properly cleaned before my arrival. The beach area was also very disappointing and poorly kept, far from what you would expect when booking a “seaside” villa. Overall, this place failed on every level: service, cleanliness, honesty, and basic hospitality. I regret choosing this villa and do not recommend it to anyone. There are much better places in Jepara that actually respect their guests"

"Bagus! This might be the best accommodation in Jepara. Everything here is excellent. The pool is perfect, and they have two—one for adults, and one for kids. The beach is a few steps from the pool. Service was excellent. The bed is comfortable and large. Only issue is that there is no fridge in the room. (November 2023)"

"The location was remote, the service was extremely poor, and the room smelled musty and rotten. The tap water was yellow, and the room was covered in dust and cobwebs. Even the lamp was covered in dust. I changed rooms, but the situation was the same. The bed was small, making it very cramped for two people. The door lock was also very weak; it took a lot of force to open and close, and there was no electronic lock. Getting a taxi was extremely difficult, and there was almost nothing to buy nearby, not even bottled water. The seawater on the beach was also murky; I had no desire to swim. A terrible experience, and I never want to go there again."

"Great Value! Once you arrive there, you find a new, bright white house welcoming you to stay. The spacious guest rooms were very clean, airconditioned and have a big terrace facing the sea – just the ones you want to have on your holiday. I especially enjoyed the early morning hours, having a swim in the outdoor pool, listening to morning prayers from different directions, and just enjoying a nice cup of java coffee by the pool. Nothing what you can experience back home in Europe. If you fancy for some nasi goreng and sambal, just ask the owner – didn’t find any better during our whole trip. Once you are there, take a walk to the nearby beach, and enjoy a beer looking at the sunset or have a dinner in the neighbouring restaurant. If you need some program, ask Peter. We had a nice tour to the countryside and visit to the city. If you like - rent a ‘motor’ (scooter) and take a tour in Jepara by your own. Big thanks to the lovely couple (Peter and Misni) for all the tips, program, and service – you made our stay perfect."

"We spent one night at this hotel while waiting for the ferry to the Karimunjava Islands. The room was very spacious but very dirty; the floor was covered in hair, and I had to remove it to keep it from sticking to my suitcases and shoes. The hot water in the bathroom didn't work well. The place is nice, but they should revise the rooms and the cleanliness."
