"The hotel is very new. You can get shampoo, shower gel and other skin care products at the front desk. There are many kinds of pillows. The breakfast is also delicious. There are several restaurants downstairs. It is very convenient."

"酒店比較新，設施齊全，衞生也很好。酒店靠近直江津站，有jr和私鐵線路，不過上越的公共交通系統很差，公交和私鐵班次不多，私鐵站距離對應景點距離也很遠。從酒店可以步行到國分寺和居多神社，之後可以一路步行至春日神社及春日山城城跡公園，基本涵蓋上越主要景點。考慮到上越的交通問題，在這住可能是個不錯的選擇"

"The room was excellent, although I will say it followed the usual Japanese hotel style with smaller rooms. There was, however, more than enough room for my husband and I. The bathroom was fabulous and everything was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to issues with the snow. The location is fairly central and in a really cute area with a train station very close."

"My wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Toyoko Inn Joetsu Myok Eli Nishi Gucci Room #1306 from 13 to 16 October 2025. The Hotel is just a 1-minute walk away from the Joetsumyoko Station. Similar to other Toyoko Inns, the modest reception is on the First Floor and it has limited parking lots on besides the Hotel, and also a bigger open car park about a 2-minute walk away. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥300 per day for 3 days at the open car park very nearby. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are not quite able to communicate in simple English. As the Hotel is located quite away from the city centre of this very small city, so there is no shopping centre nearby except a few eateries are near the Station and within comfortable walking distance. The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the small bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower. Like all Toyoko Inns, the Hotel provides daily breakfast of simple home cook styles; varieties are limited, but it is very comforting that gives a nice start for the day. Also, it offers free coffee and tea via machines 24 hours daily. At SGD S$97 per night with breakfast, we find it value for money and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Joetsu or Myoko again."

"I am very satisfied with the natural hot springs and two types of saunas for the cheap price. The new building was just built, it was beautiful, and soundproofing measures were taken firmly. There was also an izakaya in the facility, and I had a fun conversation with my workmates with delicious food. It's a pity that breakfast wasn't a buffet, but overall the cost performance is good and I'm very satisfied. There are supermarkets and famous ramen shops nearby."

"The room is really big by Japanese standards, and the service is good. The car can be parked directly in front of the door, and there are many restaurants within walking distance.  I drove from Baima to a midway station in Niigata Port.  I feel that the price is very high and I am very satisfied with a stay.  When I checked in, I saw that I was not Japanese, so I sent a piece of information to me directly, and I wrote it clearly.  I arrived in the afternoon that day,  I stopped the car at night, and then walked to the Niujiao Restaurant to eat. The barbecue that day was very happy."

"The location was outstanding in front of the station. It was an old hotel, but it was clean and I liked it. I was worried about that because the door key insertion was not smooth. I couldn't evaluate it other than that because it was used without meals, but it was good to be able to stay cheaply. I stayed until the last minute of check-out time, but I was worried that the chatter of the cleaning aunt came from the corridor to the room."

"The location is relatively remote, but the victory is quiet enough, the window door faces the inner street.. There is no view at all.. Car parking hotel (free) Food is not lost, but there is a surprise. Time to go outside the hotel, outside the hotel (about 30 meters) There is a beach (bathing) You can swim in summer.. but the big waves feel dangerous "

"It was conveniently located in front of the station, and the front desk staff were courteous and friendly. The room was a semi-double twin, so I was able to relax comfortably. There were many restaurants near the hotel, and a convenience store nearby, so I think it's a very convenient location for traveling from Naoetsu Station."

"OK, the countryside area is right next to the station; this old Showa-era hotel actually has its classic features. The food here is also very traditional, and the fish dishes are not sloppy either."
