"We had a wonderful stay here. Staff were professional and service standards were at its best. We were served breakfast and dinner for all days we stayed. Breakfast was western and dinner was traditional Japanese. I must say they pampered us greatly with all the meals. The room was v spacious too!"

I have been indebted to you about 7 times, but I am grateful that I am very satisfied every time. This time I also noticed something, so I posted it. In terms of facilities, the water level in the bath is low and it doesn't blow, so you don't feel like you are in a hot spring. Also the mirror in the bathroom is dirty and offensive. I want a cold bath as a request of a friend who uses a sauna. ... apparently ... I think that everyone can use it more comfortably if you can consider and improve the above. I feel satisfied every time I stay, but I wrote this post with the heart of an old woman."

"The view from the hotel was truly amazing! Dinner was quite delicious, especially the appetizer, which was unique and tasty. However, breakfast was rather average. The hotel facilities are a bit dated; clean but not very modern. The service was excellent, with a young man from the UK who communicated fluently in English. Disappointing aspects: There are approximately 13 rooms in total. About 10 have the same view as the lobby, while the other three have significantly worse views, failing to see the sunset. Unfortunately, our room was assigned to one of the worse rooms. For dinner, our dining room had a large wall in the middle with only a few windows on either side, making it difficult to enjoy the sea view, although thankfully it gets dark early. We noticed that Japanese guests were generally given dining rooms with full sea views. Breakfast – similarly, we were assigned to a dining room with an obstructed sea view. Overall, the hotel is very beautiful, and the service is excellent. However, the unfortunate poor views of our rooms, dinner, and breakfast make it hard not to wonder if the hotel prioritized Japanese guests."

"We stayed overnight in late Feb 2024 as we were road tripping with rental car around izu peninsula. This resort style hotel is very dated. The onsen area was large with multiple indoor and outdoor pools. The dinner and breakfast were served as buffet style, I loved the local turban shells and fish dishes. The hotel is only accessible by car and local bus, It appears we were the only foreigners. I personally won’t classify this hotel as resort due to its aged facility but services and food are food."

"Great location for watching sunrise directly from the room. Onsen view is great that I can see stars and listen to sea waves. The facility is old and the bathtub looks a bit rusty. The water needs 10 mins to become warm."

"The hot spring hotel is relatively old, but the staff is very good. The receptionist can speak Mandarin, and the restaurant waiter can introduce himself in English. He seems to be Indian. The hotel is in a very good location facing the sea. However, the hotel's hygiene conditions are rather poor. After returning from the hot spring on the first night, my body began to itch, so I went to the pharmacy and bought some ointment. The floor was slippery and felt rather dirty. The water from the frozen kettle in the room contained dirt, so I did not dare to drink it, so I went to a convenience store to buy water. I have reported the above two situations to the hotel. The soundproofing of the room was poor. The sound of rain on rainy nights prevented everyone from falling asleep. We didn't sleep well even after staying there for two nights. The two nights were two nights with two meals. The breakfast and dinner menus were different every day. The food was fresh. The only drawback was that there was too little meat. My husband and son were not full enough."

"On this trip, I went to Atagawa in Shizuoka Prefecture♡On October 3rd, I stayed at "Izu Hotel Resort & Spa"! After checking in at the 5th floor reception at the front desk of Atagawa Onsen, I immediately went to my room 💕 My room was Room No. 134 in the east building ♡ Room type I stayed in: Hot spring open-air deluxe terrace twin B1 Head towards the east building and open the room. I said, Wow, that's amazing💕💕 The room has an open atmosphere with a large bed and 2 sinks ♡ The bed area and the wash basin and hot spring area were separated by a door. I'm so happy to have an even bigger open-air bath in my room ❤️ You can see the beautiful sea from your room and terrace 💗 You can clearly see all the way to the Izu Islands 🎵 Nice view! ! What a beautiful view o(^o^)o I felt like I was in the sky and forgot the time ♡ The room, hot spring ♨️ and restaurant are like going to the lower floor ❤️ Drinks in the fridge are free too I did ♡ I was so happy about the freezing ❤️ I'm glad I was able to spend a relaxing time. The meal is a French course at the restaurant. All of the dishes were beautiful, elegant, and very delicious! Breakfast was served in a private room just like dinner! It was very elegant and delicious, and I was able to enjoy the sparkling wine in the morning. The meal was also great! A small premier resort where all rooms have ocean views and open-air baths 🎵 All 26 rooms are equipped with hot spring open-air baths, and it's wonderful to be able to bathe in the hot springs in your room ♨️ Furthermore, there is a large hot spring bath where you can enjoy a spectacular view while soaking in the hot springs. It is a fully equipped resort with "ONSEN deep bath open-air bath" ♡"

But it’s about 10 to 15 minutes away to the night cherry blossom light-up and bamboo lanterns site for the 27th Minami-Izu Cherry Blossom and Rape Blossom Festival!"

"We were really taken aback by how nice the entire experience was at the cost, private bath, onsen, and the facilities were a delight. The photos did not do the rooms justice. Beautiful and practical. Nice staff as well. Dinner buffet was delicious as well, we went back for seconds. The town was gorgeous, great workout, and the locals were very friendly although it’s hard to get to neighbouring areas without a car and the nearby shops are often only open for one or a few days of the week which means you should be careful in your planning if you want to eat out of the hotel in a place that is not a konbini."
