"Cons:
1. There's a connecting door in the room leading to the next room. Although it has a lock, you can still peek into the other room, which feels very unsafe.
2. There were monkeys in the hallway, geckos on the walls, and ants in the room. You'd think I was staying in the middle of nature.
3. There are bedside tables, but no power outlets near the bed, making it very inconvenient to charge devices.
4. The showerhead switch is like those you find in fast-food restaurants – is it to save water? You turn it on full blast, then have to slowly turn it off until no water comes out, then open it again, and slowly close it again.
Pros:
1. There's a parking lot right at the hotel entrance, making parking convenient.
2. The staff are friendly and provide good service.
3. The bed sheets and duvet covers are changed for every new guest.
4. The room size is quite spacious."
"Stayed at Keteri Boutique Hotel recently during Raya season. Overall quite satisfied with my stay 👍.
The room was comfy and exactly as shown in the app – clean and decent for a short stay. Location is also very strategic, easy access to nearby shops and food places.
However, a few things can be improved.
There’s no lift, so a bit troublesome to carry luggage up the stairs, especially if you have big bags. Also, the WiFi at Level 2 (my room area) couldn’t connect properly.
Another thing to note – the hotel location is quite happening during festive season. There were fireworks just below the hotel until midnight, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might have some difficulty sleeping. Maybe on normal days it’s quieter.
Overall, still a good stay for the price and location. I’d give it 4.5/5 ⭐"
"Centrally located. We were on the eighth floor of an 11-story building, which offered great views. When I booked, only twin rooms were available, but they offered to switch us to a double when we checked in. The room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and four pillows.
There was a lot of noise from the neighboring room (we shared a connecting door), you could literally hear every sneeze. Luckily, the neighbor checked out later, and the noise stopped.
Breakfasts from 7 AM were good, with about 5-6 hot dishes, cereal, rice porridge with toppings, stewed meat, rice, and noodles.
On the downside, there were very few power outlets in the room – only by the kettle and TV, and the one by the TV wasn't working (though credit to them, they sent someone to fix it right away). The internet setup was terrible; I had to connect my laptop and all devices through my husband's phone. The plumbing was old, and the bidet faucet was broken.
When we asked about the local bus stop, they said there was one near the hotel. Good thing we didn't listen and still caught a bus from the actual stop. I wish the concierge staff were more informed about local transport."
"My overall experience staying at this hotel was very satisfying. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff provided friendly, professional service, always ready to help when needed. From the moment I arrived, the hotel's atmosphere felt comfortable and calming.
The room provided was very clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and in-room amenities such as WiFi, a television, hot water, and basic toiletries were all complete and made my stay easy. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also very satisfactory.
The hotel's location is also strategic and easily accessible, whether for business, vacation, or simply relaxing with family. Other facilities provided were also in good condition and added to the comfort throughout my stay here.
Overall, the stay was excellent and well worth the price. Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfortable, clean accommodation with quality service. I will definitely consider staying here again in the future."
"The night shift front desk staff was rude during check-in. When I mentioned my booking through the Trip.com app, he denied it and insisted they only accept Agoda bookings. Despite my efforts to explain, he seemed displeased and unhelpful.
The hotel is well-located near eateries and amenities. While it’s old and the rooms are dark, the price is reasonable and cleanliness is satisfactory. WiFi is reliable and fast, traffic noise is noticeable. There are no toiletries provided—only two small cubes of Lux soap. Overall, conditions are acceptable for budget travelers, but don’t expect much."
